  1. https://metro.co.uk/2024/03/24/retro-gaming-thing-enjoy-video-games-now-readers-feature-20518796/ This just popped up on my tablet. I know sharp had the TV with NES built-in. Was not aware however that at SNES version existed. Well its SFC actually but still cool. After a google search looks like its real. Super Famicom Naizou TV SF1 The Super Famicom Naizou TV SF1 (スーパーファミコン内蔵テレビSF1, Sūpā Famikon Naizou Terebi SF1) (often described as the SF1 SNES TV) is a television set produced by Sharp Corporation with a built-in licensed Super Famicom. Released only to Japanese markets, the unit retailed in 1990 as a next generation successor to the 1983 C1 television also produced by Sharp and licensed by Nintendo. Like the C1, the SF1 was noted as having superior picture quality to a SFC plugged into a standard television.[1][2] That is from wikipedia. But can USA gamnes work? I know with gamne genie SFC games work on USA system. But USA games on SFC possible?
  2. Some nes had the cutout in the bottom no hole needed didn't they?
  3. So is there actually any difference in these revisions? Or it's the same game?
  4. https://www.timeextension.com/news/2024/03/someone-has-finally-found-a-use-for-the-nes-expansion-port Interesting
  5. Yes that one was discussed before. I believe it was furley vs furley.
  6. Tonight's Son Of A Critch on CW was about a coleco gemini.
  7. I know first run Zelda's are rare. But even sealed not 288 thousand cummon. https://www.gamesradar.com/young-gamer-lists-rare-copy-of-nes-zelda-hoping-for-something-like-dollar15000-or-dollar20000-sells-it-at-auction-for-dollar288000-after-scrupulous-ebay-users-informed-him-what-i-had/ https://www.zeldadungeon.net/sealed-copy-of-the-legend-of-zelda-initially-believed-to-be-worth-700000-usd-sells-for-288000-usd/#:~:text=Expectations ran high%2C as the,be “grateful for anything.”
  8. Would these fit? https://www.ebay.com/itm/130899455339
  9. Found another twitter video top view. https://www.timeextension.com/news/2024/02/nes-modders-fix-the-sin-committed-by-nintendo-39-years-ago
  10. MVO? Top loader only had RF. And a game genie works pretty good with games that no longer connect. Granted you have to use a genie very time but its ok.
  11. https://www.gamesradar.com/after-39-years-it-looks-like-modders-finally-have-a-fix-for-the-ness-fatal-flaw/ Just saw this. Similar to blinking light win. Hope its good.
  12. It came today. Better than expected. Took it apart to see what is inside. The gold thing came loose and the buttons don't work any more. It was working when I got it. I just wanted to see how bad the inside was. Better than I hoped. https://mvvg.blogspot.com/2024/02/prostick-ii.html?m=1 Now I just have to figure out how to get it all back together.
  13. https://www.tomshardware.com/video-games/handheld-gaming/game-boy-advance-games-can-be-recreated-from-the-sound-they-make-when-they-die-modder-demonstrates Very interesting. Never knew this.
  14. Yes but the blue stick looks not too bad. That is what we do here. Open things up and fix them and clean them. There was a thread about fixing a pro stick 3 with pics of the inside. So hopefully it's not too bad.
  15. He offered me the metal thing for 3 bucks but I said no. I got this instead. The blue one there is two on ebay for 70.97 and 44.95 on ebay This lot was less even though untested so I took a risk. It will arrive in a week or so. probably. He said he would sell me the blue Prostick II for 15 dollars plus 8.45 shipping and 2.35 tax. So 25 dollars and 80 cents tax. Untested. But looks good shape. The prosticks are less common. Or at least I have not seen them as often in the wild or on sites like ebay. So it is worth a risk. The other guy showed more photos and said the tape on the silver box was covering the sharp edges. So I skipped that. That would of been bad. What cought my eye about the prostick was the dual red buttons in the front because I ma a lefty. So I hope it works and is a good deal. Ebay
  16. https://www.amazon.com/Arcade-Atari-Game-Station-Pro-Joysticks/dp/B0CNFT1QHB?tag=gamespot-promos-20 Right now GSPs on sale for 50 bucks at amazon. But how reliable is refurbished? And is it Atari or amazon refurbished?
  17. https://www.ebay.com/itm/126260013652?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=8NcjdDzVTQq&sssrc=4429486&ssuid=X1rZDZEuQMa&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY And this. Plus a pitfal theme version for 2600 is cool. https://www.ebay.com/itm/225965578874?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=5VjZ6dCORIa&sssrc=4429486&ssuid=X1rZDZEuQMa&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY
  18. Regarding 7800 found this. https://www.ebay.com/itm/126291855830?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=8NcjdDzVTQq&sssrc=4429486&ssuid=X1rZDZEuQMa&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY
  19. Since it's for 2600 probably not 7800 compatible.
  20. I found these on eBay. Ebay Looks like prolines. But metal shaft instead of plastic. And different buttons. I don't remember these back in the 80s or 90s. They are 9 pin but not sure if they are for Atari or another system. These look familiar to anyone?
