  1. I am biased, but since we are speaking about the subject of Christmas games... what about MEAN SANTA
  2. Hi John, I don't know of any other video modifications that can be done to the Odyssey2. For example, I do not believe there is a mod that allows an HDMI connection to a modern TV. That would be nice, but I don't think it would happen. Sure would be nice. One can dream. You never know... You can never say never with the retro gaming community... I do have a friend who did a modification for me on my O2 console that has the two wired controllers that cannot be detached: He added a 9 pin port that allows me to connect a standard ATARI 2600 compatible joystick to play the games. I guess I am lucky because both of my wired controllers are still working well after all these years. I asked him about the worn-out controllers that you have and this was his reply: " as far as fixing the original joysticks, there's really nothing to fix in them. They use a membrane for all the switch contacts, much like the 5200 and Intellivision controllers. I don't know of anybody making new membranes for them. That's why I ended up modding my system to use standard Atari controllers. " If anyone is looking to have this service done, please let me know and I will give you my friend's email address. -Tim

  10. In an android-based colecovision emulator software package, I recently acquired a ROM of a game for the Colecovision called MR. DO'S WILD RIDE. I have never heard anything about this game. I didn't know it even existed for the Colecovision I am assuming that it was never released on cartridge, but I could be wrong. It does not show up on the list of games on cvaddict.com I believe it is a conversion of the MSX console game but I am not 100% sure. https://www.video-games-museum.com/en/game/Mr-Dos-Wild-Ride/49/3/14971 The game screen states the year "2004 Colecovision conversion by Steve Begin" and it states "COLPAX" Perhaps that is the programmer's nickname Does anyone know anything about this? Does anyone own the game on cartridge? I would like to know if an instruction manual exists for it? maybe for the MSX console? I also found a youtube video about the gameplay from a number of years ago: https://youtu.be/DPdNpgD2G9w I have attached the ROM of the file. Check it out! Is it 100% complete? mr_do_wildride.rom
  11. I don't own one but I have heard good things about the COL-USB Stone Age Gamer sells them for $37.49 and just for kicks I checked out the shipping and because it is so small and light, the shipping is only $3.81 via U.S. MAIL https://stoneagegamer.com/colusb-power-supply-adapter-for-the-colecovision-usb-c.html Willie C. does a nice youtube review of it at: https://youtu.be/42VR7sJQKh0 As he stated, you do need to supply a USB C charger and cable Stone Age Gamer sells the cable for an additional $2.99 Hope this helps, Tim

  17. FOR SALE Frankenstein's Monster for the Mattel Intellivision. A game by Nanochess. Cartridge and manual only. Intellivision Revolution and 2600 Connection are co-publishing this release. IntellivisionRevolution has released the FULL complete-in-box version. This is the cartridge-only version. For the loose game cartridge and manual sale: As of today, (Wednesday June 27, 2022), I have 16 of these for sale. http://timduarte.blogspot.com/2021/08/frankensteins-monster-for-mattel.html Again, We are just trying to gauge how much interest there would be in a "cartridge and manual only" option. User Interface Software (LUI) still offers useful tools to keep track of your ROMs and run them in the jzIntv emulator. Because it is expandable, LUI's capabilities will grow. At this time, the high-level features provided by LUI include: ROM library management Full support for LTO Flash! Intellicart! download support Integration with the jzIntv emulator - it's never been easier to use!" It's a free download at: http://www.intvfunhouse.com/intvfunhouse/ltoflash/ -Tim
