I'm listening to old time radio. It's amazing how many commercials are outright lies. For example, Camel cigarettes are less irritating to your nose and throat. Drinking Pepsi helps with digestion problems.

  My favorite was listening to an old Dodger game and hearing Vin Scully announce that for every Dodger home run, Lucky would donate a carton of cigarettes to the local veteran's hospital. That's wrong on so many levels now.

  Things are certainly better, though. All those scares from contaminated food? In years past, people would just die and we wouldn't hear about it.
