    Too bad. It would have been cool but I'm definitely happy with the game as it is now. I've been playing the heck out of it and I can't wait for the cartridge. Bounce/break up/combine are things that I've been playing with on my own version of asteroids for Windows Phone and Android.

    I definitely want Space Rocks. I've been playing the bin for so long it would be great to have a physical cartridge. As I play the game, I wonder what it would be like if the rocks bounced or broke up when they hit each other. I know the arcade game does not do that but I think it would make the game harder if that happened. Maybe it does on higher levels or newer builds.

    I've seen 2600 carts at my local Goodwill for $4.99 each. Typically they always have at least a original XBox or PS1 sitting on the shelf. GameCubes show up every few months. The systems are typically $14.99. I wish I could find a N64 there. Of course, 20 years ago I find my Kangroo cab at a thrift store for $50. I've never seen anything that good since.

    That 3D printer cartridge looks really ragged. I don't like how the cartridge looks like it was made from wicker. It looks like it doesn't fit very well in a regular 2600. How is it going to fit in a 7800?

    Well the code name is Durango for the new xbox. It won't be backwards compatible with the 360 but there will be a cheaper new model 360 released at the same time. The new machine will require a network connection to be always on and will have a blu-ray player. I hear the games will be compatible with PCs so the same game will work in both. Skype will be built in. I also understand there will be a free version of Visual Studio Express for developing indie games for the new XBox. Windows 8 will be its core OS so the new machine sounds like a $500 PC with a high powered GPU and Kinect 2.0. There is also suppose to be a change to the XBox live family subscription. The five user license will be the same as the 1 user yearly license. $60 instead of $99.

    I hate how it takes along time in pitfall II to get back to the last save point. You also lose most of your points.Why can't I just teleport back there with less point loss? Harry doesn't move very fast anyway. As for Jr Pacman, the author must have written some routine to have all the ghosts make a b-line to where Jr Pacman is. It's like they are all homing missiles. They don't seem to have a pattern either. That is what I like about Pacman 4K and Ms Pacman, the ghosts are predictable.

    I don't know. Solar Conqueror doesn't have much to it. Yar's Revenge has a indestructible missile that chases you and a neutral zone to hide in. You have to time the firing of the cannon just right to blow up the bad guy. Solar Conqueror is just a bunch of rockets being fired from the sun on the right. Pretty basic stuff. I think the best part of Yar's Revenge is bringing up the easter egg.

    I'd say the number one overrated game is Halo 2600. This game gets by on name and author alone. Some of the problems with this game are control. The control doesn't allow the character to shoot in different directions. Also, there needs to be more enemies to shot at per screen. A score would be a good addition. Right now it feels like a programming demo and very incomplete. It's more Outlaw than Halo.

    I kind of like the Koronis Rift. It reminds me of the Atari ST game Captain Blood. I would call it more of a weird game like The Eidolon than overrated.

    Has anyone ever built modern wireless joysticks for the 2600? I was looking at the commerical Sega Genesis ones but they must have their controller ports in certain places.

    I've never played Superman until I recently bought it and I find it quite fun. It's a simple run around and do the tasks type of game like Adventure. I think it's still the only Superman game ever made that was well thought out and fun. Beyond this game, Superman has never gotten a decent game. I'm looking at you Superman 64!
