  1. Hey guys, i am trying to find a Nintendo Gamecube Gameboy Player statup disc in good working condition, i would also consider the player add on as well, though i did pick one up, not sure if it works or not, it did not have a disc and stupid me did not realize that a disc was needed to work the thing. If anyone can help i could pay a reasonable price, ebay prices are just too high in my opinion. I can pay with paypal, or if you want to trade, the only things i really have are some Atari 2600 systems (complete) and a bunch of controllers., pretty much sold off my 2600 game collection about a year ago. Thanks everybody.
  2. Wow!! what a treasure, congrats you guys on one heck of a find, good luck with the auction.
  3. I was a teenager in the early 1970s and can still remember seeing my first PONG coin op in a pool hall, everyone including me could not get enough of it, at the time there was nothing else like it, then later on when i got to play Pac-man in a new arcade filled with video games i thought this was the coolest thing since sliced bread. in the early 80s i was fully grown had a good job and bought myself a 2600 to play at home (to save money and my marriage) and i thought wow this was the best thing since the VCR. move ahead many consoles and years and i play my PS2 and Xbox almost daily (retired now) i don't have the current gen systems other than a Wii i bought for $30 at a garage sale, but found i did not care for most of the games it has, so we use it mainly as a wi-fi movie box. As someone who has been there through all of it from the very start (had a friend who got an original Odyssey for Christmas in 72 or 73) i remember he had a light gun with it and we played that thing to death, i never owned one myself, but for the time it was state of the art, it was never as popular as the 2600, I guess that was mainly because of it's price at the time and no one knew what the heck it was, or what to do with it, not sure why it never really caught on. young people these days have such an overload of stuff that it's no wonder they are bored with playing the older simple games, the magic is not there for them as it was for my gen because these days it's 'just wait a month and the newest thing will come out. I was glad to have been born when i was because i lived through some amazing growth in technology.
  4. too bad you did not video tape the box opening, usually ebay will side with the buyer, but you may be right about them siding with Lukie on this one, but who knows, maybe take a few pics of the shells you might get lucky, i wish you the best with it.
  5. Good stuff, one of my 5 favorite 2600 games
  6. wow really nice collection, it's the Atari other stuff that really makes my mouth water, some real goodies, thanks for all the pics, fun to see it all.
  7. I think the guy who makes these is spells it hoZer, with a Z rather than S
  8. Purchased 10 games from him, fantastic person to deal with, highly recommend to all
  9. reminds me of the idiot on storage wars who found a dirty beat up NES model 001 and said it was worth, i think he said 10k or some stupid amount, the best part was when he took it to a retro game shop and his dreams came crashing down to $10 (it was non working), some people are stupid it amazes me that they can even function enough to type out an ad.
  10. So far i have only had to give one neg., the others have all given a full refund to avoid a negative i suppose, it happens far to often though.
  11. yeah and this 35% are the same people who's games we as collectors find in shops, thrift stores, etc. trashed to hell, some people are just players with no respect for the collecting aspects of gaming, i dunno, maybe it's just the collector in me but i prefer to have something tangible, something real to hold onto, or maybe i am just old, likely it's a little of both.
  12. It should be a very easy common sense thing, "like new" means just what it says, a good example of like new is if you purchase a new factory sealed game, open it up, it then becomes like new, no scuffs, no scratches, not re-surfaced, nothing missing, why is this such a hard concept to grasp for many sellers on ebay., i would say that at least 1 out of every 4 or 5 disc based games described as like new that i buy on ebay are not even close to like new. it amazes me. anyone else have this problem?
  13. In my area almost all things gaming related on the Craigslist are well over priced, and the trend seems to be that no one like the xbox 360 as they are listed at about a rate of 15 to 1 over the ps3, and vintage stuff is so over priced it's laughable.
  14. I have an original 1980s Atari Trak-ball that i purchased new factory sealed last year when i was still collecting, i opened it and used it once with centipede, so it is like new complete in the box, box has some dents from years of warehouse storage but the unit itself is minty. $25 (shipping included to any U.S. address) also have a Grand Theft Auto vice city soundtrack cd also mint like new (no scuffs, scratches, perfect shape) complete in it's original case. $6 shipping included to any U.S. address. also have 4 PC CD games if anyone has interest in them let me know, (1) Medal of Honor Allied assault (disc 1 fine with some lite scratches, disc 2 near mint) - (2) Vietnam Black Ops vf cond. - (3) Nascar thunder 2003 (near mint) (4) Sim city 2000 (case needs replacing and disc has some scratches), all four for $8 shipped to any U.S. address. all are complete. 2 PS1 games - Die Hard Trilogy in vf condition and Hardcore 4x4 (green label) in vg to fine condition) $6 shipped for Die Hard and $4.00 shipped for 4x4 or $8.00 shipped for both. 3 Atari 5200 games (all work) can attach pics if needed - 2 copies of Centipede and one of Pac-Man - $7 shipped for all 3 Can supply more photos if needed, thanks!
  15. I have gotten refunds through ebay/paypal on several occasions over the last few years, mainly from zipper heads who describe games as "Like New" but send something scratched all to hell., ebay/paypal has always sided with me as a buyer in these matters., for all of the years that i was a seller on ebay i always tried my best with photos and honesty in my descriptions, but we all know there are some shady sellers still on ebay, though with the new rules protecting the buyer you don't run across them as often., mainly stupid people who think scratched up discs are "Like New" Anyway, run it by ebay AX they will side with you i'm sure.
  16. Looks like a great deal to me, if i had the extra cash i would be in on it, i think you will do ok, most ebay bidders wait until the bitter end.....free bump
  17. Wow, why can't i ever find a sale like this, usually all i find are scratched up PS2 sports games at sales, thrift stores etc.
  18. wow this sold for $11.00, someone got a bargain, too bad it was a pick up only auction or i would have been in on it
  19. too damn much political correctness in the world today, lightin up "newtype5" life is too short to be such a tight a-s!
  20. I purchased 4 PS2 games and a controller from lordnikon everything was in mint condition, shipping was fast and well packed, great person to work with!
