  1. Bleah, posts not liking images here for some reason. Anyway, a link to the mod as it appears now: https://scontent.fsnc1-1.fna.fbcdn.net/hphotos-xlp1/v/t1.0-9/13015120_10153357038482811_4619449128389288796_n.jpg?oh=cee09c1520637e108504828726ad77b6&oe=5773D66E
  2. Just component, so nothing too sexy. (And it's usually the only slots open on any given TV in the house. HDMI is taken up with the new-gen stuff.) Matt did an amazing job of the mounts as well, as they look like they belong on the 7800. I'll try to get pictures up in the near future, in between the myriad of other things I need to get done.
  3. Well, had a friend of mine, a local game store owner and tech, mod my 7800. I cannot believe how much of a difference this made, pretty graphics, crisp sound. Sadly my TV has been taken over by the kidlets and their Wii U... but clear 7800 gaming will be mine! MINE!

Like many other fan projects... got lost in the XM quest.
  5. Charlie Brown has tried to kick the football for a few years now and dozens of times... Lucy keeps making the promises, in the exact same pattern, each and every single time. Forgive me if I start thinking that, at some point, Charlie Brown is more of fool than Lucy is a jackass.
  6. Bender answered it best..
  7. I'm not cheering for the XM to fail. I would love to see it eventually released. I just don't think that that's ever going to happen. Simple as that, really.
  8. Ah, it's so cute that people have hope for this...
  9. And for that alone, we should all be thankful for Uncle Albert!
  10. I really can't say which is 'the best', as tastes vary. But if I had to pick 'must get' for any newcomer to the 7800 scene, it's easily Bob's Pac-Man Collection. Excellent ports of Pac-Man and Ms. Pac-Man with an insane amount of options.
  11. I'll take bribes for reviews. Actually, you're right though - considering my collection, I should get a few up soonish.
  12. Well, the 7800 WAS designed in the early 1980s... so...
  13. Even though the Colecovision is really my favorite classic console, I'm not really big into the fandom scene for it. When I've been asked why I'm not, I have to respond, "Well, the groups seem to be filled with self-important jackasses that would embarrass #4chan. " And if I ever get asked for proof, I'll just have to point them to this thread. There's a lot to be said for being professional and polite, and not being elitist snobs more interested in flaming people's efforts (whatever they may be) than actually contributing to the fandom and hobby...
