I was wondering where I heard that quote from before... it was sampled in this track.

Now that is food for thought.

Rock 'n Roll might not solve your problems, but a couple of rounds of ROCK N' ROLL RACING sure as hell will. :)

And on the 8th day.......God created Rock 'N Roll! ?

  4. Hey man! I couldn't help but give your awesome Atari Walkman clone console a shoutout in today's video. Thanks again for making this thing in the first place. It's my go-to Atari 2600 system!
  5. I saw your comment about the GBA "beta" support on the Hyperkin RetroN Sq... well... I got a review unit and you can see the results for yourself. Sadly, not great. Maybe they can improve it by the time they are in consumer's hands?
  6. Nice! I just picked up a MiSTer and looking forward to seeing everything it can do.

    Why can't I live on?

When the Life-Giver dies, all around is laid waste. In my last hour, I'm a slave to the power of Dea-eath!

Maiden rescued my 12 year old self from Michael Jackson and Madonna.

      *Whew*

Madness is actually my favorite album, tho I know it only borders "classic" Maiden.

      Up the Irons, Forever!!!

  8. I was finally able to secure one thanks to a friend. Got the disc version and a copy of Miles Morales. However, Astro's PlayRoom is where it's at! It's a "demo"...but better than 90% of the games I've played recently! Amazing.
  9. Ever since the Xbox One X, Microsoft has done a great job with their consoles...and the Series X is definitely a continuation of that trend. I love mine as well.
  10. In a Godsmack mood today. Been a while since I spun their tunes, but it's sounding great today ?

I've got to be honest-(relatively metalhead here, with several weenie exceptions, and versatile musician...), I really didn't/don't care for them much, but saw them live in Charlotte, NC once(with Staind? I dunno. I drink a lot), and they were FANTASTIC, I knew more songs than I anticipated, and they really played well/put on a great show, I was highly impressed by the "band effort".

  11. Oh man I would LOVE a sequel to H.E.R.O.
  12. Microsoft sent me and a bunch of YouTubers, streamers, social media people an Xbox Series X for early review and here are my honest thoughts on it. I have to say, having the ability to play 4 generations of Xbox titles is pretty damn great. Also the 1TB SSD really is a game changer when it comes to load times. In the video I show how Red Dead Redemption II boots up in 30 seconds on Xbox Series X when compared to almost 1:30 for Xbox One X. I also cover what I like and don't like about the new controller, my thoughts on the Xbox interface, design of the console and more. If you have specific questions, go ahead and ask here and I'll see what I can do!
  13. I bet you could reach out to Blaze Entertainment and ask, as they are the ones that make the Evercade, licensed the games and they are pretty active on social media. https://twitter.com/blazeretrogames
  14. I was sent the 4 upcoming Evercade cartridge compilations, which include two volumes of Atari Lynx games... and I figured this fine group of enthusiasts would be curious how they turned out. Even though most of you probably have the real games in your collection, it's cool to see the Atari Lynx get more mainstream love like this and I was excited to help get the word out. Also.. it's neat that the Evercade also supports the Left/Right hand feature of the Lynx too. Cartridge 1 is mostly 17 Songbird Production licensed titles like Crystal Mines II Dracula The Undead Gordo 106 Loopz Power Factor Super Asteroids / Super Missile Command Scrapyard Dog Super Skweek Xump Cartridge 2 are all Epyx games: California Games Chips Challenge Checkered Flag Todd’s Adventures in Slimeworld Electro Cop Gates of Zendocon Zarlor Mercenary Blue Lightning
  15. I was really surprised when I went to Japan last year to see WALLS OF FAMICOM DISKS in almost every single retro gaming store. I had no idea it was really that popular there. Pretty neat sight to see!
  16. The light in the window is a crack in the sky
A stairway to darkness in the blink of an eye
A levee of tears to learn she'll never be coming back
The man in the dark will bring another attack

  17. I catalog everything based on a UPC bar code, which is how a store would do it. Compilations are their own releases and I would want to know if I already had one in the collection or not.
  18. I updated this Cataloging Your Games video a few months ago. Check it out:
  19. Mine was a cassette drive for my C64. I remember pushing PLAY to load a game like Snokie the Penguin platformer... and going off to watch MTV Top 10 Countdown with Dokken, KISS and Bon Jovi for almost 30 minutes while the game loaded. Saved up for a 1541 floppy drive as soon as possible!
  20. Woke up, fell out of bed. Dragged a comb across my head. Found my way downstairs and drank a cup. And looking up I noticed I was late

I read that I dragged across the floor to comb my hair.  Eventually somehow made it into the kitchen to drink a cup of coffee(I believe).

  21. I love that it's making a comeback...but I wish they would update the visuals just a little, ya know?
  22. Almost 10,000 steps yesterday. Really trying to walk more & lose this damn quarantine weight. I miss going to the gym ?

Have you looked into intermittent fasting? That and cutting back drinking (not being presumptive) might be of interest.  Best of luck!

  23. I just beat The Dark Pictures: Man of Medan (XBOX One) the other day. By the makers of Until Dawn, but sadly not at good. Still the motion capture technology is a marvel to watch! It's some of the best in any game and looked fantastic on the XBOX One X.
