Have you got any source code for writing music players on the AVG cart, I am getting to understand C , C ## , and assembler for the Atari 8 Bit . Since I have a MIDI module that is conencted to my serial port while the AVG cart id loaded I would like to try and write something for it, you know: handling MIDI and long file names

Hi Amis , have not spoken to you in a while, I have written a program that writes BBS screens and am still working on it at this moment , have not touched my Atari 8 Bit ina few months too busy working on a Lotto Max and Lotto 649 program, you can find them all on Github , source code and everything , the BBS screen writer has been turned into a BBS door, and makes screen online, I am working on making ATASCII screens with it but that has yet to be seen as I am still working on that feature, I will check one of my earlier versions that has a working copy of the code and upload it to Github tonight, you can test out the screens that it makes and see if they work, I will hook up my 800xl and do the same.

Hi Russ,
I have reviewed your previous beta versions but will take a look at the github again. This maybe of low value for atascii given the active bbs’s have new and legacy screens as well as producing break versions which your application is not able to produce. We have created new more complex screens such as southern amis bbs. Might be worth it for you to log on and review the screens to see if your tool can meet the current needs before spending more time building something for little use. Its a cool idea but will enough use be made of the tool.

Available soon, you can legally stream some tunes from ABBA to ZZ-TOP on my BBS while downloading Atari 8 Bit to Atari Falcon files. All of this is possible because of a Socan license of $120.00 a year including taxes. That license covers all reproduction rights for their repertoire, the BBS is reachable at https:christfollowersbbs.ca, happy streaming and downloading Atari Files.

Breaking Announcement
Complete IDE hard drive kits for the Atari Portfolio are being made as we speak, at least 3 units, cables, laptop drives and enclosures are being designed too. I have the software and will personally test each unit when it is all made. How many Atari Portfolio Users would be interested in this? I do not know how much it will cost for each unit until one is made. Depends on what the ide drives are worth, but I can get them for $3.00 Can each but they would be > 40 GIGS , the ideal size is 10 GIGS , I will have to look online to see what they are worth, and I have to pay Don for his time to make the cables.Note that you will need a parallel interface, I have one.
