About Me
Howdy!
I live in Fresno, Texas, part of the Houston metropolitan area. I write software for a private company in the space industry. Our software suite is used to design space craft, such as MESSENGER, which successfully completed its mission to Mercury.
I'm into classic computers and consoles and have the following systems:
- Amiga CD32
- Atari VCS Heavy Sixer
- Atari VCS Light Sixer modified with a CyberTech S-Video/Stereo
- Atari 7800
- Coleco Galaxian
- ColecoVision
- Commodore VIC-20
- Commodore 128
- Sega Genesis
- Sega Nomad (handheld Genesis)
- Vectrex
- Virtual Boy
Modern systems include:
- Mac Studio M2 Ultra
- Mac mini (2018), used as a Home Theater PC. I cancelled DirecTV and use it, with some networked HDTV tuners, to drive my 4K TV. Saved over $1400 the first year. Also runs emulators, PS1 games look awesome rendered at nearly 4K
- Nintendo 3DS XL. After Nintendo discontinued support I jailbroke it so I can run emulators on the go. Details about this in Any info on StellaDS?
- Sony Playstation 3
- Sony Playstation 5
Atari VCS/2600 projects:

- DASM Club - assembler used for writing games for the Atari (and other systems)
- Kaboom! Deluxe! hack of Kaboom! which adds some graphical enhancements as well as the 5200 Pitch and Catch variations where the other player controls the Mad Bomber.
