where is the generic edge connector like used in pc boards? lets find um!

i talked to batari. im looking forward to getting one.

if you can get two ports you could add a switch and make it a two cart model. how many leads did the atari brain thing have to disconnect to switch carts? probably only 1. two ports would probably fit.

OHM speaker mount holes. im putting built in speaker on my 2600 asap. I allready did a 9v battery mod to my FB2. built in speakers would be cool. I would also like to include the wall wart transformer in the case so there is less clutter. maybe have a removable cable or just leave a small ac cord hanging out. a real small speaker in my FB2 would be awesome. the screen i ordered for it doesnt have sound. was the 2600 MENT to have speakers and they never did it? what kind of speakers do you suppose this thing could push. like headphone speakers.

hey. would it be possible to remove the 40 games chip and install it on a black cart board? since the FB2 works without the chip, the chip should work without the board! do all the pins from the chip goto the pads for the cart port? i cant wait to play with mine. ill need some more to mess up though., off to the flea market!

thats sad. if you end up taking the thing apart ide love to see a shot of the inside. perhaps you can jury rig a better keyboard to it.. pics of the inside of the cart look complicated. like all the components ics and what are in the cart??? please post pics of inside!

compumate was a good keyboard for the 2600, right? i like the unreleased one had a cart port on the side

wow. that would be a cool cart. autodialer, box, phone book maybe, war dialer. i know they are useless now. but they would look cool on a display atari. fake hacker games or apps on a real cart. how cool..

there should be other new hardware for the 2600. like a new multiple cartdrige switching device. i just lost one on ebay. saw one a flea market and missed it. why arent new ones made. it would be fun to use new hardware with a new FB

i wish i could get a hold of batari before i ordered one. i never place an order without contacting someone. cant email him. can message him on the board. whats up with that?
