  1. I will let you know - Actually, I have about 60 or so Betamax tapes on their way to me that are supposed to have a bunch of PBS specials from the 80s on them, and I have a few lots of VHS tapes coming to me as well (all ebay paid, unfortunately). I will look for those shows. Now, I just need to get another Betamax player!
  2. I know this is not game related, but I thought maybe someone here at Atari Age would have what I'm looking for and be willing to help me out. I'm compiling DVD's (for personal use,m of course) of old TV shows, commercials, movies, specials, etc. from the 70s and the 80s (nothing from the 90s needed - I actually have a lot of tapes from the early 90s that my folks just gave me). I am looking for VHS tapes that contain these type of TV recordings (uneditied - I want the commercials in). I can pay for the shipping (media mail, of course) and ship them back to you (media mail at my cost) when I am finished if you would like the tapes back - or if you don't want them back just let me know. PM me if you have some old VHS tapes that you would like to get rid of or loan out for a while. Thanks, and again I apologize that this is not game related but I thought I'd ask. I put in a local CL ad and haven't received one response yet. Thank you! Jon
  3. Bought some Odyssey 2 games from him. They were packed very well and exactly as he described them. They were shipped quickly and he communicated with me the whole way. Superb transaction! Flawless!
  4. The angry text wasn't there originally. Apparently Rex Dart's question prompted the flame response. Not only is this a beautiful item, but you can expect awesome customer service too! It's like an Atari collector's/ebayer's dream come true. Garbage item + Rude Seller = Heaven.
  5. Yeah, the darn advertising criteria for media mail is what prevents a good shipping deal. It does not make any sense - those ads in the magazines have all expired. None of that stuff is for sale in retail stores anymore. Ah, the glorious incarnation that is the current USPS.
  6. El Cuadro, por favor? Gracias.
  7. Bought 30 boxed INTV games from Yurkie - they were packaged perfectly and are superb, just as described. The price was more than fair. Highly recommended. I may have to purchase one of those Colecovisions y'all are talkin' about ... next time they are available. Thanks Yurk man!
  8. Wow - someone tee'd this guy off somethin' fierce! Was that underlined red statement there at the beginning of the auction?
  9. I was paid quickly for some Atari games, he was a great communicator! Smooth as silk transaction! Thank you!
  10. Eating home made sausage Gumbo, right down to the Okra! It's dee-lish!

@Bryan - you just made my wife guffaw! She's the best - I married my best friend, it's the greatest! Thanks for making my wife laugh!

I married my best friend too, but I can't get her interested in AtariAge.

Mine, neither - in fact, I don't know what she was doing on the site. Sneakin?

  11. I'll check my boxes as well - i may have two of the manuals.
  12. FINAL BUMP before these go to eVil bay. Thanks for looking!
  13. Final BUMP before I throw this stuff on eXtortion bay. I would MUCH rather sell it here, so I've discounted the prices here and for the Baldur's Gate and Warcraft games.
  14. OK, so I went to a yard sale today, found 35 NES games for $1 each and ... a Macintosh m0001 ... for $10 (with keyboard and mouse)

That's excellent. Many of the games I found today have the "Funcoland" sleeve.

The Goodwill in my area is pretty savvy when it comes to prices; they actually check eBay’s completed listings ergo finding a deal is tough. I did find Double Dragon for Game Gear for $2 though so I always look despite the usually high prices.

You are being very generous using the term 'savvy' for Goodwill. I would use other choice words that are not family friendly. They freely admit that they use ebay as a guide. Thrift store buying is so convoluded now. Arrgghh!

  15. BUMP - Remember, all prices are negotiable if you'd like. Thanks for taking the time to look!
  16. Bump - OK, I'll ask $30 shipped for the Baldur's Gate set and $25 shipped for the Warcraft set. I hope that helps for pricing interest. Thanks!
  17. Looks like it would be $18.45 to ship parcel post. The keyboard seems great - all of the keys depressed fine and nothing stuck - they also had that slight 'clicking' sound as if they had hardly been used. The computer also has a serial port and a printer port on the back. I hope this helps. Jon ps - the original receipt from 1993 is there as well - $750 new!!!!!
  18. Yes, I believe you are correct. I don't know much about modding Atari's and when I traded for this I thought I would have more interest in tinkering around with it. Alas, it has not been that way so I hope this can go to a good home.
  19. I found this 1993 Tandy 1110 HD Notebook Computer in a storage auction and hoped it would work - but alas, the hard drive seems to be corrupted. It is a bit dirty but seems to be in good shape otherwise. It also has the original box, styrofoam and coverings for the inside of the box. I think the only thing missing are the five MS-DOS 3.5 inch disks that had the system software on them. Maybe the software can be found on the net. Anyway, the computer powers on and during start up gives the 'hard disk failure' message. Maybe the hard drive needs to be replaced. Anyway, it may just be of value to someone who collects older computers or laptops. I'm asking $20 plus shipping. If you would like to make an offer, I will consider it too! Thanks! *** SOLD ***
