  1. Hi guys, I tried doing a channel scan with the Atari in the antenna port, but it seems to be still picking up tv signals on channels 2 and 3, so i've got no way of telling if it's working. Thanks, purplecashew
  2. Just to clarify, it's one of the Vader 2600's.
  3. It's plugged in correctly (i'm in Australia so I guess the tv's are a bit different) I have done all the channel stuff, but there is no response whatsoever. I don't even know if the Atari is even working, because there's no output, noise, or anything. Thanks, Adam
  4. There's still no picture/reaction if any of the carts are in. Also, there's no reaction to which channel it is on. Thanks, Adam
  5. Hi guys, I recently bought an Atari 2600 off a guy in my area, $20 for the console, power cable, 2 controllers and 5 games. Anyway, it isn't working at all. When I plug it in and turn it on, there's no display, noise, or anything. I checked the voltage of the power cable, and it was putting out almost 14 volts, even though the plug says 9V on it. When it's on, the controller ports are putting a few volts, so something must be getting through. I opened it up, and from what I can tell, everything seems to be in order, although before yesterday i'd never even heard of the 2600. Also, is the video connection meant to plug straight into the antenna port? It fits on my (quite old) tv, and somehow managed to act as an antenna and let me watch some Doctor Who. Thanks in advance.
