  1. wow dudes, You are really getting in to this....nice. I wish I had more knowledge when it comes to the Atari....
  2. This game was written FULLY in assembly. The collision detection has been tweaked so it works better now. I want to get this game on an eeprom and the eeprom on an original board ASAP, so I can test the game on the original hardware. Since I don't have the FANCY SD-CARD solution and don't have the money to get it on short terms.....that's my only option of playing it on a real colecovision.
  3. hey dudes, I am trying to create wave of some .CAS files I have again. Some of em work, but some I can't get to work. Could you guys give it a go? BTW the CAS files work in PAL mode with basic disabled in Altirra, so the cas files are good. I just want to record them back on tape to play them on my real Atari. Especially the Donkey Kong and Donkey Kong Jr. since these were the first games I played when I was a kid. NonWorkingWave.zip
  4. dudes.... I just made my own first CAS file. it's a game written FULLY in basic. A donkey kong clone. you load it by mounting your tape and type CLOAD I grew up thinking this game was called Crazy Kong, but in fact it's just called Kong CrazyKong.zip
  5. hey joey! Thank for the help man. Trying the tapes as we speak. a lot of em are working in NTSC mode and not in PAL mode.....
  6. damn I would really love to get em, but shipping them to holland will kill me I have a friend that's pretty technical, so he might be able to fix at least one of them.
  7. Here's a sample from my donkey kong tape. After 39 seconds Altirra stops loading. If anyone can get this working....I'll have LOADZZZZ more DONKEYK.zip
  8. Uhm I thought it was me Are there any other Atari EMU's with better CAS support and with the option to actually use the OPTION key?
  9. hey dudes i got a lot of cas (and wav) files which will not boot in atirra. any want to give it a go?
  10. yeah I mean fruit machine games. Could you dump these to an emulator ready file?
  11. got the selfstest screen..... Also got a game to boot up automaticly after that. The Atari is a little dirty. Might open it up to do some cleaning.
  12. Uhm I did it holding down the OPTION and START when the atari is OFF. I hold em down and then toggle my atari's power switch. Loads up just fine, but I have to press break to tell my atari to stop loading.
  13. Hey dudes, I just picked up an atari 800XL with tapedrive and some games. So all excited as I was I hooked the thing up when I got home and tried to load Chucky Egg. turn on the atari, press the START and OPTION key, inserted the tape and the thing started loading.....MAN WHAT A NOISE (but don't we just love it ) after 7:47 the tape stopt loading and I got stuck at the basic screen with the cursor in the top screen. I pressed the BREAK key and all of a sudden my game booted!! So I tried another game... This time it was Bubble Trouble. Inserted the tape, loaded like it should and after completing the loading....got stuck at the basic screen again. BREAK key was pressed and the game booted. What is going on here?
  14. hey dudes, I am about to pick up an atri 800XL I am really looking forward to be adding this home computer to my collection, since it was the first thing I ever played on (back when I was a young kid). Back in the days I remember my uncle coming over to play a certain Jackpot game which was programmed in basic. I tried ALL the jackpot games that can be found at AtariMania, but it wasn't there..... If only I could get my hands on either the listings or the game itself, I would be a really happy person. Back in the days was late 80's/early 90's (I was born in 85) so I really don't know how old the program is.
