im getting a new laptop in december... should i go with windows 7 or windows 8? they both are good in their own ways, i hate the windows 8 layout but ive heard its faster, and windows 7 i have experience using and i like better, but, again, ive heard windows 8 is faster. what are your thoughts?

  Make sure the laptop has a touch screen that will make win 8 easier to use. Besides, a new machine will come with 8.1 installed anyway.

  win 8 works but suck, win 8.1 made it worse, just go win 7 and you will be happy

  so far it looks like i might end up going with windows 7. honestly, windows 8 looks like such a pain to use, especially without a touch screen which isnt really what i want, but nothing is quite sure yet
