Does Seamonster have another name? Or is it a unique game not under any other name. Was it released in the USA as NTSC? Or only overseas?

I have seen many different label versions of Gauntlet by Answer Software for Atari 2600 floating around. There is a plain black cart with text, a double ender and also a picture cart with a man running with a log in the foreground. What is the deal with this cartridge? Which version is the original authentic version of the game?

I have a copy of Space Tunnel by the company CCE. I've been collecting Atari 2600, 5200 and 7800 games for many years. But I've only recently gotten into collecting Atari 8-Bit computer stuff. And I have several basic questions.. I am curious which games work for which computers? For example, can I play Atari 800 games on the Atari 400? Can Atari XE games be played on the Atari 400? Can Atari XE Games be played on the 800 or 800xl? And is there a list anywhere of which games were released for each computer? I saw atarimania has a good index of the games, but I was hoping to find a basic text list of the games for each system. I'm assuming each one of these computers had a disk drive. Is there a disk drive that works with all the computers or does one need to own ALL of the disk drives? Also, since many floppy disks don't work any more, is there a better way to play Atari computer floppy games? I have heard of Floppy emus. Does that exist for Atari computers? Also, which of these computers is the most sought after? Which do you consider to be the best one to own?

I am looking for the Berenstein Bears audio cassettes that were sold as an additional thing for the 2600 game. If anyone out there has the cassettes and is looking to sell them, please contact me. Thanks!

Probably a pretty basic question that's been answered a million times before. But how many Text-Number Atari carts were there? Any what were they exactly?

I just updated this list, as I have gotten several more titles. If anyone has any of the games listed above, please let me know! Also, I am now trying to collect all the CX carts as well. I will update with a list of those soon.

I'm wondering exactly which games were the black ones that say game program. It seems some of the CX carts are picture labels only. For example, Fatal Run does not have a "game program" black cart version. Is there a part of the website that JUST lists those? Basically dividing up the CX carts between label and no-label

Okay, the second controller port worked. But my WICO controllers are so out of alignment it doesn't seem to matter anyway.

I tried to play Wizard of Wor for my 5200 tonight and was having some issues. Maybe someone can help. I have a working Atari 5200, and I use a Wico controller. I am able to play my other games, such as Galaxian. Works just fine. But when I try and play Wizard of Wor, nothing happens. I hit the start button on the original controller, which starts the game. And the the character just wont move or fire. Any ideas what could be wrong?

How is it Mame can be played on a home console? I have not heard of that

This isn't a troll thread. Had you actually read what I said, you'd see I was talking about the arcade version, not a port. (Such as DK on coleco or NES) The arcade version of Donkey Kong has not been released on a home console, so that is what this is about. Additionally, I know Donkey Kong arcade was released as a bonus in Donkey Kong 64, but it's not quite the same as the arcade version, so in actuality, it isn't the same thing.

I did look. And there are some nice Taito collections with Space Invaders. But I still have not found Food Fight, Lady Bug or Donkey Kong arcade

I've been getting interested in playing arcade games that have been released on home consoles. Xbox 360 has a pretty good collection of games. Midway Arcade Origins has quite a few arcade titles http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Midway_Arcade_Origins Other ones they have downloadable on Xbox 360 are Pac-Man, Ms Pac-Man, Dig Dug, Galaga, Tempest, Missile Command, Centipede & Millipede, Asteroids, Xevious I was able to find Burgertime, which was released on Midway Arcade's Greatest Hits Volume 2. Another I wanted to play was Super Pac-Man. That one I found was available on Namco Museum: Virtual Arcade (Xbox 360). But there are still many classic Arcade games I'd like to find on a home console, that I haven't been able to. Such as Donkey Kong, Food Fight and Lady Bug to name a few. Does anyone know if the arcade versions of these games have found there way onto any home console?

I joined here in 2001, just a few months after this site launched. I've been playing Atari 2600 since the early 80s. It was my first console. I haven't been as active on this website as I would have liked over the years, because you know - life happens. But I have continued to collect Atari 2600 games throughout all those years. When I was a kid, I probably had maybe twenty Atari 2600 games at most. Now, I'm about 30 games shy of a complete collection. This would not have been possible without the amazing wealth of knowledge this website has graced us all with. I just want to say a sincere thanks to the creators of this site and to all the contributors for making this a constant source of nostalgic joy, even during dark days. Keep on gaming!

Thanks greg. I am very happy with my current collection. But it's still a personal goal of mine to try and get them all. (or nearly all) I will probably never get Red Sea Crossing or Birthday Mania. I'm fine with that. But I'd like to track down the rest. Also, if you see any on my want list that you think may be PAL only, please let me know!

I will also most likely be purchasing this when it's released. Curious to see how it compares to the arcade game.

I have some questions about the games released by the company BOMB. I'm speaking about Z-Tack, Assault, Great Escape & Wall Defender. Just how limited was the production run on the NTSC Bomb carts? I have heard these carts die easily. Does that go for both the NTSC and Pal versions? Are they both prone to cart-death? If one had a dead bomb cart, is there a way to fix the game? If so, how exactly? Also, I have heard these games are bad. I don't care. No need bringing that aspect up.
