  1. powww.mp4 powww.srt Machine language translation Portuguese->English in the srt didn't seem to work well. Can any educated Portuguese speakers comment on what is really being said?
  2. Is there anything new on this you can share with an untalented spectator on this topic (like me)? Thanks.
  3. Now that it is post-PRGE 2023, can someone enumerate all games released after the 125? Trying to update the FAQ as well as the Intellivision Day list, and the data is kind of all over the place at the moment. Carts/ROMs.
  4. Maybe more info will come out with the Intellivision book next year, but I wonder if there were any decision tidbits floating around about the characters and non-Engligh languages.
  5. Can you share a Youtube of it? It sounds interesting.
  6. Long live The Wayback Machine. Was doing some housekeeping on the Intellivision FAQ, and went to this link: https://web.stanford.edu/group/htgg/sts145papers/jtam_2002_1.pdf but Stanford recently(?) put a security wall around the content. Going to the 2018 version of the page, it still exists: https://web.archive.org/web/20180712104332/https://web.stanford.edu/group/htgg/sts145papers/jtam_2002_1.pdf whew. The content is "Intellivision: Its Legacy, and the evolution of baseball video games" by Jeffrey Tam.
  7. It looks like section 5.2 of The Intellivision FAQ needs some refreshing. I'll pass word along to the artifacts division at Intv Prime.
  8. If I can ever get a game out, I will make a PRGE exclusive release, just 3 copies for the show with something on the box itself, and sell for $3,000 each just to mess with the speculators.
  9. No BS: because of the coverage, I bought the ROM during the episode.
  10. Anyone that would like to have a little ad (animated GIF) for their stuff, please DM me and I can get it on the Intv Prime site as well as push-mentioned in Intv Prime Twitter and FB posts before/during/after PRGE.
  11. To "see" the audio intensity of Episode 46: https://mediadepot06.intvprime.com/pub-tmp/inty-ep047-SomethingDifferent.mp4
  12. The Intellivision FAQ has the info. "Does Beauty n the Beast have easter eggs?" in section 3
  13. @cmadruga Happy Birthday! Stay blocky!
  14. Were you able to get more information on this from the new owner?
  15. Hey all. I have some refrigerator magnets for anyone to hand out, was wondering if I can mail them to someone who can put them out for public to grab. Please DM if you are able. I am not able to get to or get into PRGE this year. Thanks!
  16. This is one of my favorite AA threads.
  17. "; only call out first piece to fix" "; when piece is properly replaced, call out next piece to fix if any are left" IIRC at the high levels, the fix order was random, "replace this third... this first... this second" to make attention span part of the difficulty.
  18. We should all probably mention what we took it and put in. So…. I took the Christmas Carol patch to go with the other CvG decorations I put out in December, some IR stickers for the laptops and tablets, and a pamphlet to keep around as a conversation piece. I put in a small pile of Minstrels’s Legend refrigerator magnets and a few Intellivision FAQ branded paper note pads. Love this social experiment, hope it keeps going! The box also seems to be an experiment in physics, see how much tape can be put on cardboard before it no longer can be considered cardboard.
  19. Hi all. I have a family health issue that needs my attention, has since mid-August, which is why this never went anywhere past the idea phase. Maybe in a few months I can come back and if publishers and players are interested I can work on something. I wanted to do this, I think the community gets a little something out of it, I have fun with it, but apparently it wasn’t meant to be for this part of 2023.
  20. Box is enroute, cross continent from NJ to CA, should be there on 27-Sep. Enjoy!
  21. Hey all. I have had the box for a bit too long. Having some personal/family issues. Passing it over tomorrow. Thanks for being patient.
  22. Hey all. Dealing with some personal/family issues. Hope to return to coding this out one day with some more/new focus.
  23. If you have time to use additional ROM, maybe replace some of the sprites of the moving parts just to add flavor? Maybe making some of the circuit boards different shapes, and moving across them makes the tooling slower? For example, if a "board" is shaped like a Nest thermostat, when a control-piece like the scissors crosses over it, it slows. That would force the player into making a decision on whether to move across the hole or around it. How about a coffee? Give player a choice at start time to have a number of coffees (paper cup or mug image), and it appears aside the board as an additional tool. Selecting it gives the player a jolt of caffeine and then their tool movement will n-percent faster. Scoring decreases for correct moves made during the caffeinited time, so player has to make judgement to go for points or speed in completing the game. At the end, coffee consumed is included on-screen so anyone will know if they were boosted. If not coffee, how about 80's Jolt Cola. How about a second controller ? Something else to make the game more difficult for a player, or to give a grand/kid that is nearby an opportunity to "do". Keep a running graph on-screen of the amplitude, and have it fluctuate during activity. If it gets too high, Intellivoice "amps high", same for "low" , "even" or something like that. The disc not being used to control the regular activity has to be used to vary the amps. If left unchecked, that board-module will burn out. Or maybe if it isn't a sine wave then maybe an analog gauge. Each board will show (or say) the proper amps for this module when the player enters it. At game start the player would have to declare which controller (left or right) is used for tools. Reason for this is to make the player physically switch to control the amps, adding more frenetic difficulty. I recognize this would be a ton of work.
