Congratulations on getting the platinum 125

My rarest would have to be the CBS clamshell Donkey Kong for the Intellivision, so far I only know of five in collections (I managed to get two). Apart from that I have few rarities, Tutankham for Intellivision and Mr Do's Castle for Colecovision, but not anything too super rare. My favourite though would have to be Grips03 IntyII Arcade Controller.

Yeah I think what was a nice idea from marketing soon got overwhelmed buy the practicalities of production and supply as the market dropped out (why make more red clamshells when yellow and blue were sitting unsold?) the cover slip colour scheme for those interested was Coleco - grey background, red strip background behind the "for use on colecovision only"; Atari yellow background with green strip background behind "for use with Atari Video Computer System"; and Intellivision - light blue back ground, text has a darker blue strip with "For use with Intellivision Master Component" Thanks for the Space fury pic too.

Just on the backing clamshell colours. There was supposed to be a colour system. Red Colecovision, Yellow Atari, Blue Intellivision. However later releases of Colecovision releases were sometimes in Yellow as the Atari releases were more often in the Red International CBS boxes. So far I've only seen Intellivision releases in the Blue clamshell. What's really interesting is that the box is for Donkey Kong - the cartridge supplied with the system! I wouldn't have thought there would be much call for it unless it was for display or DK stopped being the supplied cartridge with the system at some time time.

Big recommendation for these controllers, they work great and bring the arcade style games into their own.

Just a question I haven't had a chance to check but are the orphan overlays (in the set) the same as what Intellivision Inc is supplying?

OK I cannot comment yet on NTSC to PAL RF signal tuning but using a hairdressers' clipper power adaptor I have been able to use a moded INTY2 really well. (and use Gripp's awesome joystick for the first time) I'll try to get photos to prove this but the power and frequency converter (see ebay 221586408290 for reference) works a treat and is available in Australia and the UK. Its not stated anywhere but I checked with the supplier and the unit provides 75W of output power at 110V and 60Hz, which is more than enough for the Inty 2 power pack.

You may be asked to supply schematics and internal pictures of these mods. How's your electrical retro-engineering skills?

I use the adaptor cable (from Sweden if I recall) and it works great. Sometimes the adaptor selector can introduce interference if the connections are corroded. Good luck

You have three Ice Treks?

No apart from the NTSC to PAL signal output the power input also will require the 60Hz 110V power for the NTSC consoles, rather than the 50Hz 240V power here in Australia. You might want to invest in a step-down transformer with a frequency changer (although a step-down transformer alone might work)

I haven't had any similar issue with my Australian PAL console, one press of the reset seems to bring up the title fine.

Could use the 50% then run-off system. If any game gets more than 50% of cast votes in the first round it wins GoTY, otherwise a run off vote of the best two or three (if the votes are close). I also think at the same time a vote should be made for best packaging/presentation. The best playing game doesn't always have the best packaging.

I don't mind the arrangement, its just the overlay indicated the top/bottom arrangement.

mine arrived during the week. however, is it my machine or was there a bug on the jump buttons? the top buttons are disabled and the short is left and long is right bottom button on the hand controller.
