  1. I think I registered to the Atari age waitlist twice. I think I did it a while back but I wasn't sure. So I did it again I think with the same email I used previously. When going through the list, I assume it'll go by the earliest time I was added to the list? Or does me and put on a list again push me back on the list?
  2. That was meant as a private message, I don't know how it ended up on here
  3. I would like to go for it, including getting the caps replaced. And I want the VGA mounted where the brightness dial goes. Also, you may as well order the Mcwill & have it sent to you, that seems like the easiest route to go. The best day for me to ship my Lynx is on Thursdays, as that is my day off although I don't think there's any mail service on this particular Thursday. I think I have a box that will fit the Lynx. Do you have any recommendations on how much I should insure the Lynx for when shipping it? I think Priority comes with $50 insurance but that doesn't seem like enough to me.
  4. I'm in the US, and it's the Lynx II. It sounds like he provides the Mcwill, I just need to send my Lynx in which makes me nervous. I don't want it getting lost in the mail.
  5. What is a reasonable price for the Mcwill upgrade with VGA out? There's someone on eBay offering it for $225 + $15 shipping. That seems a bit much. Any thoughts?
  6. How do I actually purchase it on AA? Is it already sold out or is it not up for actual pre-order yet? I'm on the page but I can't seem to do anything, it won't even let me add it to a wishlist.
  7. I must have missed it somehow, what is the difference between the cart and CD version? Is it just better music or is there any other benefits?
  8. How do I pre-order? I was thinking it would be at the beginning of this thread, but I didn't see a link or anything.
  9. https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/saberridergame/saber-rider-and-the-star-sheriffs-the-video-game?ref=twitter_share This kickstarter is ending in 36 hours, support it if you can! It'll be for PC Engine, Dreamcast, 3DS, & Steam! I supported the PC Engine Bee Special 2 package. Aetherbyte is doing the PC Engine version, so I know it'll be great!
  10. Doh, I was just going to make this thread myself, glad you got ahead of me here Arky! While we're at it, there's also Revival Chase up for pre-order, it's a clone of Lock n' Chase & comes with a retro magazine....or the other way around! There are several places to order it, here is where I ordered mine, it's included with the issue 45 of Revival magazine in the US: http://www.gooddealg...Game Media.html You can also order it here(I think this is for UK customers) http://sales1632.myzen.co.uk/acatalog/Revival.html I think there's a place for the rest of Europe, & also one other place for US order's, but I'll have to check around some more.
  11. Ok, looks like all the bonus material should arrive this week at Nod's house, & he'll begin shipping them this week, assuming the post office doesn't screw up anything ofcoarse!
  12. Actually, all the preorder stuff is done. However.... "I have good news and bad news... the good news is that the second batch is now finished. The bad news is that the USPS website states that the first package is in... San Juan PR. Seems like it was returned to sender. I guess I'll pick it up Tuesday and just ship them all out at once."
  13. Vita? I thought for sure the project was moved to the Playdia!
  14. Yeah, I didn't know anything about it! I'm pretty sure Mono is the main priority, with maybe one or 2 other games that I'm not as privy on. I do know Mono shares the Jungle Bros. current engine, though, maybe as both game progress, they'll have their own tweaks. I'm honestly not sure which one will be released first. JB is really far into production, but there are some things(like the sountrack) for Mono that are already done!
  15. Yeah, memory was tight on this game from what I recall. I think it would've taken a complete re-write from scratch to have more memory. I think this was done with HuC IIRC, but I believe we're moving into assembly more with our games. Though, I'm just the music guy, I know zero about coding!
  16. I don't recall any games of mine having that, but I do feel like I've gotten dvd's that have it, though I can't think of any specific ones at the moment.
  17. I'm not involved in the shipping, that's Keranu. I did hear he's changing the way they're shipped so they're more padded, etc. As for the game itself, it's not burnt, it's pressed straight from the factory by a company called Nationwide Disc. As for the swirls, this is the first I've heard of it from anybody. I'm trying to think of I've ever gotten a pressed disc that has swirls on it. Have you tested it to see if it plays ok? In any case, I'll shoot your message over to Keranu.
  18. Well, it's finally done, after many problems(& years) it's in our hands, & avaible for shipping! For anyone who preordered, I'll just quote Nod/Rover "If you are among the first 100 orders, you are due a set of bonus items with your order. However, as of right now, the bonus items are not yet finished. You can, however, receive your copy of the game now and have the bonus items shipped to you as soon as they are finished. You can also choose to wait until they are ready. It will be approximately 1 to 2 more weeks' time before they are ready for release. Please let us know which option you'd prefer by sending us a message on Facebook or to "The Old Rover" on pcenginefx.com's forum." Anyways, the game is out, & we can move on & not look back! So forward steam on our Jungle Bros. project. Personally, I have 9 songs(of 26) to finish. I'm going as fast as I can, & I hope to have all songs done early next year. Also, there will be a contest with a playable demo. When it's released, I'll let ya'll know more about it! http://www.frozenutopia.com/index.html
  19. Deffinitely, the TG & CD units are our core audience. We're just going thru testing of a manufactured disc right now to make sure all is well before they manufacture 500 copies for us to send out. Make no mistake, these are going to be real cd's, not cdr's! As for coding, I think alot use HuC, but ultimately Assembly is better. I think with Jungle Bros., Nod is using a mix of HuC & Asm IIRC. I'm the music & sound guy, so I know basically nothing about coding.
  20. Bummer. Yeah I hear HuC is good, but not great for memory managing. That's the problem we had with our first game, we weren't able to do everything we wanted in the overworld section, like animated waves for the ocean, etc., & it would've been a complete pain to start all over again & re-write it in assembly! With that said, I'm now looking forward to the Jag version!
  21. GOD i'm such a ninny. I bought a Turbo Grafx cd system ( plastic carrying case / expander and cd unit) years ago at a flea market and it didn't come with a system card. I thought the damned thing was broken. I still have the unit. I remember putting a cd in it and it played so does that mean it might work? Yeah, get yourself a system card 2.0, they shouldn't be too expensive (don't bet on the 3.0 Super CD-ROM card though unless you want to shell out over $100). I think it'd worth it to have the 3.0 card, you're missing out on a plethora of incredible games without it! If anyone likes Castlevania for instance, well, the 2.0 card won't be enough. There's a ton that use the 2.0 & under, but, ssssooooo many great games that are 3.0 only.
  22. There'd probably be more going on with the PC-FX, if we PC Engine'ers were further along with the whole homebrew thing. We need more coders, artists etc. for the Turbo, let alone the PC-FX!
  23. Just an update....& quite an update! Finally, we have a test disc, & so far, everything works great! We're sending it to Arkhan for some further testing. Keranu was going to send it to me, but my Turbo CD has been flakey lately, cd's don't always spin. Anyways, Arkhan should get it by monday, so hopefully it'll be flawless, & get this game out of the ball park in the next month! As for me, I'm still lumbering forward with music for our next game. I have about 18 songs done, with about 8 more to go. I'm still trying to keep finishing 1 song a month, though, the song for the Desert level took almost 2 months
