I tried going to bed at about 10:00. I laid there for an hour and didn't get to sleep. So I got up. It is now 1 a.m. Insomnia is evil.

  Well, if it's a Friday night/Saturday morning try this- I work at a public access TV station and at 2:00 Saturday mornings we run a show called Insomnia Theater. Weird exploitation movies from the 50s, strange cartoons, old cold war civil defense films, etc. Just visit www.tusco.tv/watch to see it in all it's boring glory. Word from our sponsor...?️?

Sad day today.. I found three dead newborn kittens in my backyard near the house we built for the ferals that have adopted us. Apparently one of them was pregnant as we feared and had given birth unprepared on an unseasonably cold night. I tearfully gave them a proper burial.

Would anyone attend a monthly-bi-monthly public domain movie night where you can riff on movies and talk with fellow Atariagers? I'm thinking about creating a Discord server for this purpose.

  Cool idea! I actually host a bad movie show on public access here in my neck of the woods. Public domain trash flicks, cartoons, even did an episode of all vintage educational movies!

I guess "thanks" is some archaic word from the Victorian Era that less and less people are using these days even when you do them a favor. Manners, RIP.

  Amen. Had NBC, ABC, CBS, and PBS coupled with a few independent local channels. REALLY miss those. Nothing beats local TV showing reruns and awesome old movies. TV today is El Stinko.
