Saw a boxed Wii U Pro Controller at the local Goodwill for $17.99. Passed on it, but thought it was funny to already see.

PS1 FF IX was found at a Disabled Veteran's thrift. 3DS Sims 3 was at a Goodwill; still unopened with a small tear in the shrinkwrap. Don't know why they marked it down...poor 3DS.

Yeah, I'd never seen it before and the description and the screen shots on the back sold me. "The mind of a genius. The body of a spider."

Flea market finds today...
Xbox Guy Game and PS2 Ghost in the Shell were $4 each. PS1 Spider and Reloaded were $2 each. Star Ocean Second Story was $3; unfortunately the discs have Hollywood Video stickers on them. BTW, is this 2 CD slimcase version an official release, or is Hollywood Video's doing?
Criterion Two Lane Blacktop DVD-$2
Electric Company Book-$1. It's kind of an academic outline of what the show was going to be about and how it was going to teach, filled with pictures and B&W animation stills from 5 test programs made during the summer of 1971.
2 shrinkwrapped copies of StarTropics-$4 each. They both have wear around the edges; one of them has a couple of tears in the shrinkwrap.

First finds of the year...
GameCube Worms 3D, X-Men Legends II, Harvest Moon: Another Wonderful Life and PS2 FF VII Dirge of Cerberus-$5.99 each at Goodwill.
GameCube Pokemon XD: Gale of Darkness (missing manual), LOZ: Collector's Edition were $4.99 each at Salvation Army. PS2 Klonoa 2 was a different SA find for $2.99.
These were $1 each at a hole in the wall thrift. I presume they are (p)review copies; the discs look like standard PC releases. EDIT: A friendly fellow at DP informed me these were part of an official release.

Picked mine up today. Thanks again!

I'm lucky to have a good amount of thrifts around where I live (there's a Goodwill, SA and 2 independent thrifts within 2 blocks of each other on Artesia in Redondo Beach) plus on the way to work. There's just a lot of crap in Southern California. Speaking of...
These were courtesy of an Out of the Closet thrift. The Dark Eye is shrinkwrapped, and the seals are still intact on Alice, though there is a bit of wear on the sides. $5 each.

I call hoax.
Heh! If anything, I thought someone would call that on the $.99 Vasteel. I promise you that it's all legit.

All items on hold for now. Thank you!
All of the items are available for $5, not including shipping. They have been tested and work fine. Happy holidays!

My girlfriend gifted us for our anniversary with an overnight weekend trip to Ventura. I am very lucky to be with her in many ways, including the fact that she doesn't mind hitting thrift stores, which we did in Ventura, Oxnard and Santa Barbara.
These were various Goodwill finds: the Xbox Star Wars games were $1 each, PS1 Rampage Through Time was $.75 (that Goodwill was having a 50% off sale). PS2 Mister Mosquito was $3.99 and DC Resident Evil 2 was $2.99.
More Goodwill...this one was also having 50% off everything so Final Fantasy II, FF III, Secret of Evermore and Donkey Kong Country 2 ended being $1.99 each.
PS2 Suikoden III was $4.99 and PS1 Aquanaut's Holiday was $4.95 at hole in the wall thrifts.
This was the last find heading home, at a St. Vincent de Paul thrift in Oxnard. I found the case on a shelf with the manual and the map sitting under it. No disc to be found. I was going to buy it anyway, but decided to check the CD area that I had scanned before just in case. There was a pile of 3 loose discs that I hadn't looked through before and I figured what were the odds. Turned out the odds were pretty good. Paid a grand total of $.99.

Goodwill finds for $5.99 each. The GBC Matchbox Emergency Patrol is still shrinkwrapped. After finding a disc-less Digimon World 2 last week, I searched and searched, but to no avail.

PS2 Metal Gear Solid 3 Snake Eater NFR demo disc was $1.99 at a Salvation Army. U2 Zoo TV Live (2 CD fan-club set, complete and in great shape) was $2.99 at Goodwill. Grandia II is case and soundtrack CD only; it and the discs-only Night Trap cost $6.30 after 30% off sale at a different Salvation Army. That SA also had a tragically disc-less PS1 Digimon World 2.

Crazy Climber handheld was $7 at a swap and works great. The Neverhood was $1 at an Out of the Closet thrift.
$.99 at a Goodwill; I like the song and the Space Duel action is a nice bonus.
It was nice to be able to pass up 2 separate small 2600 commons lots in the same day. Also passed up a boxed (w/ styrofoam) Colecovision with Donkey Kong but without a power supply for $19.99. It was at the Gardena Goodwill between the 110 and the Hustler Casino, so good luck!

Super Mario Strikers
Mario Kart Double Dash
Starfox Assault
LOZ Windwaker
LOZ Collector's Edition
Super Smash Bros. Melee
Monster Rancher 2
...all $5.99 from Goodwill.
Mega Man Legends 2 was $5.99 from Salvation Army (loose disc in a Tekken 3 case). As a bonus, all of the discs are very clean.

Quake II-Quad Damage & Quake-The Offering, both sealed-$5.99 each at Goodwill.
$5.99 at the same Goodwill.
From the Salvation Army down the block from the Goodwill.

Yes, it is complete. Yes, it works. Yes, it was $3.99. Yes, I had a heart attack and fell over as soon as I saw it. $4.27 with tax!
And I thought the complete one I found years ago for $10 was a good deal...nice!
Last couple of days...
Max Roach-Max
George Russell and His Orchestra-Jazz in the Space Age
Roland Kirk-Introducing Roland Kirk
Albert Ayler-Live in Greenwich Village x2
Dewey Redman-The Ear of the Behearer
Archie Shepp-Four for Trane
Benny Carter-Further Definitions
Pharoah Sanders-Summun Bukmun Umyun
The bottom six are still sealed-$.99 each.
THX Not for Resale demonstration laserdisc-$.99. This and the CDs were found at a St. Vincent de Paul thrift.
Star Wars Trilogy widescreen box in longbox package, still sealed-$9.99 at Goodwill.
Rhino Records Beg, Scream & Shout '60s Soul box-$9.99 at a different Goodwill.

Waiting for someone to physically paint a toilet to look like a JagCD.
I'm waiting for someone to start a flame-exclusive Jag forum as a quarantine called "The Battlesphere."

Diddy Kong Racing ended up being $3.60 after a 40% Salvation Army discount; Snowboard Kids 2 was $5.99 at Goodwill. It seems like a small miracle finding complete DS games in the wild these days.

I would actually like it to be a repro of the flaws on the original label, including the bad offset on the front label red ink and the wrinkled end label. Probably in the minority there.
I too hope to see some red seep processing...
