  1. Wow, I never thought we would get so many responses! Thanks everyone. I will also have to check the version of firmware on my Side3 and see if I have FJC's latest
  2. I have a 1200XL with U1MB installed and a Side 3. My SD card has 2 partitions. Partition 1- External 32MB (formatted as FAT16) Partition 2 - DOS Partition 32MB I load the FATFS.SYS to get access to the 32MB FAT16 partition. The issue is this: Once I load the FATFS.SYS driver and do a DIR, it takes 35 seconds before I get the directory listing. Of course once I get past the first DIR, all Directory listings are at normal speed. Anyone else have this issue? Thanks!
  3. The chip on the left looks like a masked ROM and can not be reprogrammed. The chip on the right is like I have seen in all drives so far a 2732A Texas Instruments EPROM
  4. I have the all the conformation emails with order # etc from Atarimax
  5. I had the same problem. The problem is the SD card you are using. I had to find a chap $5 SD to get it to work. I tried more than 10 different cards before I found one that works. FinalGrom is very picky for some reason. The card should be formatted as FAT32
  6. I have been emailing Steve for more than 6 months and have Never received a reply. So I ordered the SIO to USB so I could get that and the upgrade but no reply. I left a message in the forums on Atarimax. We will wait and see
  7. Wow, that could have been. prototype Everyone I have seen has been a TI2732 EPROM
  8. I have emailed Atarimax for weeks and ordered an Atarimax SIO to USB and my order still has not shipped. Anyone order anything lately and received their order? Thanks
  9. Ordered 5 LEDs replacements for my Indus I also will upgrade the firmware to 1.2 since my drive has 1.1 so I can run my SRAM Charger It takes 15 minutes to tear down the drive to get to the LED board and remove it. It takes 30 minutes to reassemble. So I will let you know how it goes once I get the new LEDs
  10. The SRAM Charger requires ROM version 1.2 as that's when Indus added the code to boot the CP/M disk
  11. Welcome to the Indus club! My Indus drive has the exact same problem. I hope we can find a fix!
  12. Thanks! As soon as I receive my SRAM Charger and install it I will take a look at the LEDs and see what I have. I would have thought by now that many people would have replaced these by now.
  13. Thanks everyone for the help. after doing disk drive maintenance on the drive, everything is working perfectly! The only issue is there is a segment of the LED's missing (doesn't light). Anyone know of a part to replace them and how to replace them? Thanks!
  14. I just order ordered 2 of the CP/M RAM upgrades. 10 euros each
  15. Thanks Jon! I assume it will also work in reverse? If I want to make a floppy from the ATR mount the ATR then do a RAW copy to the floppy? Thats the answer I was looking for Cheers!
  16. Thanks! Does it automatically read the floppy disk that is inserted in drive 1. I am trying to make ATRs from all my floppys Thanks
  17. After reading the manual for SIDE3 it shows how to create a blank .ATR. So my question is if I have a floppy with some program on it how do I make the .ATR?

  19. Sorry to say Happy Computing never made their copying hardware/software for Indus
  20. Does anyone have a pic of what the Indus disk drive plastic case looks like with the foam? Thanks!
  21. That is a good question. Is there a disk editor or piece of software that will allow me to go to track 39 and we can find out.
  22. Yes it does. It boots every disk I have tried. It will format single density. Next I will try double density.
