  1. Just glad I already subbed to the Foundry years ago; was sweet to have this simply pop up in my feed!
  2. I'm lucky to have even claimed Persona5. I mean my collection is complete, yet at the same time I'm jealous you got a 4 terabyte solution compared to my 2 terabytes of Cerny-Approved storage.
  3. Well, I'm not sure if Rich Whitehouse is on AtariAge yet, but I'm on his Discord. I'll see if I can get him to join this forum, but I'm not promising anything...
  4. I willingly bought a copy of Atari50 cause of him! THANKS, RICH WHITEHOUSE! [ding]
  5. yeah. Tell that to my Ryzen 7 1700. They don't want my CPU, I don't want their Spinal Tap, simple as that! "These go to Hell!"
  6. Like the 'great' Ivan Drago once said: "I fight to win for Me! FOR ME!!!" Meaning build whateverthehell satisfies YOU within your budget and/or fantasy of what your 'dream PC' should be! In my case, who the hell wants Windows 11? 😛
  7. Most likely a faulty dump. Try one from another full set, if you can find one... ...on second thought I stand corrected.
  8. mmmmmm... freeeeeesh liiiiiiinnnnnk... [ahem]...I mean, thanks for fixing the link, good sir! ;)
  9. The weird thing is, after fiddling with an Xinput controller, I did some slight research on how to do your ultimate end goal starting with getting a Jaguar controller, namely one of those Pro dealies with the six face buttons and stuff! The maker of the 2600-Daptor apparently made a version for Jag controllers that I'd imagine would just plain work. Now if only Pro controllers weren't so dang expensive (starting at $60 here at AtariAge)... In short I myself have a guesstimate but need actual hands-on experience...
  10. ...crap. I wish the edit window were longer because I have something to mourn. I'm a huge fan of MAMIUI (formerly MAME32). I just learned the creator mercifully killed its development at .248. Now I have to actually use MAME's own UI. I sure do miss checking out which other games used 'X soundchip' or 'Y system source'... Curse my curiosity! XD
  11. Well! Mention of the Quantel Digital PaintBox got me to Google the machine. Sure, I know it's some valuable piece of behind-the-scenes TV tech used by broadcasters, and graphic artists alike in the 80s and early 90s, but I'm in the middle of watching a series by Dexter'sTechLab on repairing its UK cousin the DPB-7001! This could well open up a hands-on learning experience for TV Production students wanting to learn more about this facet of the history of television... In other news, our very own Bentley Bear's Crystal Quest and port of KC Munchkin made the 7800 Software List! ...Yay? XD
  12. 'TAKE ALL THE QUILS!' [place neurotically obsessed face here] ...Anyway what reversepinball said; your betatest is close to getting me to crave the most powerful DS hardware family release, whatever model 3DS that is...
  13. Okay, I just tried to sign in on Desktop via the "Existing user? Sign in" popup on the main page, and the title of the following page was like, "I'm sorry, Dave, I can't do that." I had to resort to a separate /login tab to get in...
  14. My sanity hopes you mean width as in pixels, not physically. I'm on a Galaxy S9 with a 1440P screen, using a fairly obscure browser called Dolphin, because in my ~10 years of mobile browsing, I fear I got too used to it! (It's where all my bookmarks are! XD)
  15. Ironically the browser is already in 'desktop mode', yet it looks like the Mobile layout persists.
  16. I personally think there should be an option to see the Desktop version on Mobile/Tablet. Especially for those like me that websurf holding the smartphone in landscape mode.
  17. Sorta brings to mind that I want to, someday, make a custom Frankensystem with a recent-ish (mid-2000s) HP Media Center PC, taking advantage of all necessary headers, so I could use the USB, card reader and other connections, down to the hot-pluggable Personal Media Drive (enclosed full-size 3.5" HDD, up to 1 terabyte, maybe 2). Keeping in mind the front panel on the right side includes 2 USB2.0 ports, a Firewire port, headphone and mic jacks, and composite AV and S-Video jacks (the previous two examples most likely connected to a Hauppauge TV tuner). Is such a system possible? ?
  18. Well, I made the 'genius' decision to purchase Dead Nation for PS4 a couple months before I got to purchase my PS5, based on how much fun I had with the game on my PS3 when it worked. Sure, it may be a Housemarque game, but not only are there no updates, even covering the Pro, but it hasn't been tested enough, to the point where it's said to crash on the first stage in single player. Step your game up, HM! ? Anyways, other than that blunder, the 5's more-or-less a supercharged Pro! Even treats the original Zero Dawn almost like a PS5 Native with 4K60 on the latest patch! Also, feel free to refer to post #70 in this thread (somewhere around page 3) for my full timeline, even mentioning the recommended SSD for console expansion. With those Plus plans, you might potentially need it! XD

  20. whoa. Honestly, the audio files alone beat the shiz out of what I kept in my personal library all those years ago! Kudos, dude!
  21. ...I'm already seeing less detail in the map of E1M1... Could the less detailed map(s) be a part of why the 2.1 patch is a tad smaller than 2.0?
  22. Well! I may have learned of this huge enhancement of the original 32X release in the heavily grey-area r/roms. But a couple days ago, I heard of the 2.0 release from this thread. Its drool-worthy 320×184 High Color mode might have outdone the Jag version on its own, putting the 'high definition' back into the Genesis 32X's reputation! There's also the beefed-up PWM mixer with double the channels of sound effects, as well as multiplayer via link cable (which I'm not prepared for. I only have one Genesis with 32X after all, and it's in garage storage...). Congratulations on getting me to start playing again, even if it's via Fusion! :D
  23. Better yet, did you know Zophar himself has a Twitch? He even went out of his way to bring back memories of the site one night, writing a new article in the process!
  24. ermmm, I just found out the provided link to the emulator is way out of date. Here's a new one: https://emu7800.github.io
