  7. The game could have used an alternate controller scheme select at the title screen. In a perfect world it would have had a Super Action Controller set up. Yellow button to attack Red button to jump Purple button to use magic fireball Blue button for weapon select menu Keypad # whatever for key pass menu I might do another run through with a standard controller. I'm really enjoying what the MSX developers bring to the CV.

  9. Just defeated Caos Begins today. This thing helped a lot. This game is probably one of the greatest I've played. On any system. I'd post gameplay pics, but all of them would contain spoilers. : P
  10. Juno First owner here. I would be ok if you wanted to do a wider release or ROM release of this game. Releasing future games via Opcode Club sounds cool!
  11. Upgraded my CRT to a Sony PVM (Professional Video Monitor) 14 inch. Had Yurkie do an RGB mod to my CV. It's jaw dropping how vibrant the colors are on my CV (with NO bleed). wow
  12. Killzone 3 multiplayer still fills up on the weekends. It has decent 3d if you have a 3d TV. The move rifle is a fun option too. Run and gun style is best with the thumbsticks, sniper fire is very smooth with the move rifle. It's a fun shooter, even if it is a little generic.
  13. Dragon's Lair is gorgeous. Galaga (fixed version) is a sturdy home version. Lets tie it with Knightmare (fixed version) for the best shooter on the SGM. Tutankham and Lode Runner had sex and King's Valley is the offspring. The Stone of Wisdom. Solid, quick, action RPG. Really pleased with this one. Zelda for dummies. I'm not even into video pinball, but I'm having a lot of fun with Rollerball. The game has that "one more game" addictive quality to it. Mecha-8 (haven't played 9 yet) gets honorable mention. If I don't mention it, Tricia Thunder will kick me in the nuts.
  14. It's an election year. No Facebook for me. Page looks good though.
  15. Creating solutions to problems that don't exist. I don't understand the Chameleon. I really don't get why anyone would want this or the Retro VGS. I don't get Game Gavel. I really don't. I don't understand why anyone would back this if his magazine is late or behind schedule either. I'm not pissed off about it, I just don't get it.
  16. Dude, you're getting a Dell. http://www.ebay.com/itm/Atari-2600-Colecovision-Nintendo-NES-emulators-with-a-lot-of-games-on-a-Dell-/121901111337?hash=item1c61df5829:g:-tYAAOSwFNZWySp8
  17. The CV flashback is missing Donkey Kong. You would be better off spending the money on an AtariMax SD cart for your actual CV. You could play Mario Brothers with the GF, and Pac Man Collection, and Frogger, and Q*Bert, and Galaxian, and a whole bunch of games not included on the Flashback. The only advantage of buying the flashback is that it has Mecha8 and Princess Quest pre loaded on it. It would be cheaper to get the flashback to play these games then it would be to track down the CV home-brews.
  18. I subbed as a rocket football referee for a hot minute. Never again.
  19. The Space Pirates at the end of Metroid Zero Mission are frustrating. I know them feels. The double bomb jumps in Metroid Prime are my new HOLYSHITICOULDSNAPTHISCONTROLLERINHALF. Congrats on the 1cc Gaiden, that gets a DragonBall Jordan.
  20. We're playing Gyruss right now, I think the deadline is Sunday night. Hop in and post a score! We switch games every two weeks.
  21. Similar style icon and font would look cool for SGM required too.
  22. I was skeptical about having a new SGM required logo, but that's pretty sexy.
