  1. This is an incredibly impressive display. The Sharp TV puts it way over the edge, I'm so envious. Also, the anecdote about the kids getting the brain of the kiosk for Christmas is so interesting. Definitely subbed.
  2. Hey now, he probably intends for the buyer to modify the wheel as an actual car steering wheel.
  3. My Golden Axe II died in the strangest way. I think that it has bit rot or something, because all of the buttons are mapped to the wrong inputs (something like start for right, left for a, b for up, something weird like that). Also, my Ex-Mutants that I got from a yard sale never worked. But luckily, those are the only two duds in my Genny collection.
  4. Oooh, a few other people voted for the GB version. It's just such a good remake of the original, and it looks amazing on a Super Game Boy. One of my all-time favourites.

I have the opposite problem. Getting better programming chops, can't think of anything original.

Wow, I didn't expect this status to be so popular! :o Yeah, I suppose it's wise to just plot out game ideas as best as possible. Perhaps I could do animations or sprite work for the 2600, since I know that best, and to make ideas for games rather than to be disappointed in myself for not being able to do math. ;)

  7. It's an Intellivoice cart that just repeats Tron: Solar Sailer's odd-sounding "Can't" back and forth...
  8. A bit late to the thread, but a few weeks ago I beat Dragon's Crown (PS3), and I can honestly say that it's one of my favourite games of all time. It just captures the essence of gaming so well: One part classic arcade beat em up, another part RPG, and the whole thing is gorgeous, like, almost entirely hand-painted. Such a fun game.
  9. This sounds like a really fun project. How long did it take you to create this?
  10. Things like what atari.io is doing are the kinds that make people laugh at nintendoage, for how toxic and drama-ridden it is.
  11. Really, really excited to get in on this.
  12. I seriously hope that it's not. If Halo 2600 is called Halo 2600, and Pac-Man 4K is Pac-Man 4K, then this should be called Super Mario Bros. 2600.

  14. Happy 35th birthday, Atari 2600!

  15. I hate to bump such an old thread, but OP mentioned an Artillery Duel/Ghost Manor box in his post. Do you still have the box? If so, can you scan it? We don't have a scan of the box here. In fact, there is no scan or even a tiny picture of it ANYWHERE on the internet!
  16. Just scored Gas Hog and Gangster Alley for $15 today!

  17. Whew! Rocking the joystick back and forth like mad makes my hand sore! I'll definitely try to one-up this score since I flopped on the Hammer throw, but all I have to say is WOW, this game is tricky. (That says 35880)
  18. That's a Club Nintendo case for holding DS games. And thanks!
