  1. That's a lot like my copy of Daemonsgate. It allows you to mix potions, whereas the version everyone has played does not. The sad part is, I can't buy stuff from the shop owners. If I could do that, like the version from the B&C Computer carts, then this would be a pretty complete version (or so I would think). My version even has a different city then the regular release.
  2. When I read about it, ebay allegedly does an account relook whe someone does a retraction a few times. I would assume the seller would have to report it though. I also got one of the obligatory "please cancel my bid on your item, I had left my account open and my son placed a bid on this item, not me" type of message on one item. That was early in the auction. I canceled it just so I would have to deal with it later on.
  3. I was just going to say that he did bid on that. retractions: I think ebay has gone off their rocker to allow this. What I saw, with listing 55 auctions: People were using the "retractions" to say "opps I put in the wrong amount" after bidding higher and higher to try to see what others were bidding. Then... When they crossed that threshold, they would use retractions to take away their bid. Certain people did it a few times within a day or so of the auction ending. Interestingly enough: less then 6 hours after I said no to a purchase price for the rest of my collection as I decided it was a bit low. That bidder did it to two/three auctions. When questioned, it was stated that wasn't the case, it was just the person didn't know if the item was NTSC (Glib cart in particular for that one). While I didn't like that, I'm not going to complain. I am happy with the prices of most of my items. Some carts, quite frankly, really surprised me. It seems limited edition runs are going thought the roof right now. I did not expect that. Overall... It's been a great experience. About 600 more Atari 2600 carts left to sell, along with a Ben Heck Portable Then the Lynx stuff.
  4. Serb... I made a mistake. Wrong game. http://atariage.com/forums/topic/178697-new-proto-found-slime-world/?hl=proto&do=findComment&comment=2419624
  5. Is that only an option on a regular computer? I have only used my iPhone all of these years for checking facebook and haven't noticed a different folder. I'm ummm... Not too facebook smart. Lol. It's even worse on Twitter. I send messages to Sofia Vergara. I get nothing in return. Obviously I don't know what the hell I'm doing... Because she simply can't resist all of this charm for all of these messages. Lol
  6. Frankly speaking: I'm just a fan. I don't have any coding experience. For years, I had a complete desire to play EOTB on the Lynx. I wanted the proto. Bought not eventually. Had a lot of help on the side... Then produced carts. I created artwork for boxes and manuals. I think I did an "ok" job at it, but it could have been done a bit better. But... I'm just a fan. For what it is worth; none of the Lynx protos that were eventually released in my opinion match or equal the quality of what EOTB is. I mean, it's the complete game. No missing aliens, no missing towns, no random levels. It's absolutely stunning. The only other thing I liked close to that was the unreleased version of Super asteroids. I like that release better than the official release. The HotDogs, the few Poker carts, and other games are cool. But to me are just demos. That's just my opinion though. It is always cool to find protos like the Super Sweek I found years ago that had 4 multi players on the same screen or something. Kind of cool, but not a lot of substance.
  7. I'm in good health, career going well, family is great... Just a busy bee lately. I had about a year where Hasbro had me in a torture chamber and then released me to Milton Bradly when I told them my dream was to port the Dark Tower board game to the Lynx. That had them in a fuss... All is good. Funny thing about facebook, I've rec'd no PMs from anyone that claimed they sent them, and then followed that claim with another that said I was ignoring them. Lol. I think I three people in a panic when I had my home listed as India or something. Never ignored anyone, simply didn't recieve anything. A release of some sort, I mean I have to do something with the supplies right? All in good time.
  8. Sigh... Let's not turn this into just an EOTB thing. Lol. That's not my intent! I've logged back on to say "hello" but ultimately to contact one person in particular to settle a debt. Still waiting to hear from him. If anything else materializes, great... But I'm not making a list of potential buyers right now! Lol I hope everyone can respect that. By the way... I checked out that video out and new LCD screen. Absolutely amazing. Great job by the person that completed that!
  9. EOTB: Not sure about a full boxed cart lease. Maybe, but man that's a ton of work. And frankly, they were sold at a cheaper price than they should have been. I'll think about it more, but for now I am thinking just single carts with labels. Even those may have to bump in price with the cost of the chips I bought a year or two ago. We will cross that bridge soon my friends. Let me take it one step at a time Wanna know something frightening? I almost lost my entire collection to a basement flood this year. Luckily around two weeks before my basement flooded with a freak storm, I had moved my collection from the basement in preparation for working on finishing the basement. I think it was at this point I decided that I think these carts need to be in other collectors hands rather then being stored away.
  10. It's interesting. I don't mind one way or another. I mean obviously that's a great thing for a seller. If I can sell a cart that used to be worth $2 a few years ago for $10 today, I'll do that every day of the week. Lol. But I can see the frustration from the other side too. I've noticed he's got bids on the majority of my items. But in all fairness, others have been beating him lately.
  11. Why block him? He's bringing good money to the table right now. What's the backstory as I haven't heard anything, except I know he's buying lots of my carts. Yep... That was a posting I goofed up on. I tend to do that from time to time. I was putting reserves on stuff, then decided that was a waste and just wanted to try out the BIN approach. All I know is I'm boxing up games and shipping them out. That was the original goal... So something is working. Can't believe I forgot to say "Atari" on that one though. Lol
  12. Well... That IS an option. I may let all of the rare carts go. Stuff like Bitchy, protos, and limited releases. I may just keep a few cool carts to play. Let me go look for this LCD mod
  13. Just a quick "hello" to friends and foes. I figured I'd post this here, being that I practically lived in this forum for years. I'm still alive. Still beeping and bopping around. Life had been a very busy and wonderful adventure in the past, what is it... Three or four years? I'll be in here a bit more for a little while... But will basically wind things down as interests and life has tend to move me further past having time in the retro gaming arena. Kind of sad.. But the truth is, my stuffs been stored away for far too long to really enjoy. Time to sell it all off and move along, I suppose. I've missed a lot of you for many years, and I see a few that seem to have moved along as well. It seems we have a whole new crowd here now compared to when I was a regular visitor. If you are looking for certain rare Lynx carts, I'll be posting them all for sale later on. If you are looking to see if I'll sell EOTB carts again... That too will be soon. But mainly I just wanted to start a quick thread to say hello again! Good to see you all again! I hope a few friends come out of the woodwork to say "Hi". It's been one hell of a ride!
  14. Who is that atarilynxman guy? I hear he is a DB. . . Silent wave to everyone from the past....
  15. What's interesting about Facebook messages... Not a single one showed up. Perhaps it is in my settings. I assume you got the right EricDeLee... But not a single message wall post or anything came through. Someone said they supposedly contacted my wife... That didn't happen either. I understand some things and trying to reach me... I will say that harrassment by new people I don't even know though is a bit over the line. Facebook was the easiest way anyone would have reached me... It was the only thing I was involved with online for the past 6 months... But again... I suppose it is something to do with the settings. (If anyone knows... Share info. I'm not too knowledgeable in regards to FB).
  16. Well... This is sad. But understandable. I hopped onto my hotmail accounts for the first time since about March... An I guess I owe a big "Thank ya" to someone named Gadget or something or another as I saw an email on my third page... And it reminded me of how long it's been since I've visited my home away from home (AtariAge) . I'll fill you in soon... And I'll stop in an read all of this thread and others as soon as I get a chance. Let's just get this out there though to stop all of the rumors: The Big Brothers at Hasbro did not send a mob squad to my door. LOL Oh... And I don't live in India. To sum things up the best: Life and Work got in the way Things are slowing down though... So I will see you all again soon. Personal note to two friends: Rygar and Lynxman: I'm sorry. Rygar see if that covers things.... Lynxman... I will take care of you very soon. I can't say "sorry" enough. In the famous words of President Nixon "I'm not a crook" (seriously though...)
  17. not a good way to start a topic vectormatt This will start a war
  18. I cleared a little bit of inbox space... so you can PM as well
  19. I know my inbox is jacked up... sorry about that. Just shoot me an email at atarilynx@hotmail.com I don't want to ship any of this (so if you sent a PM just asking about 1 or 2 things... I'm sorry...I want to sell it all). Add an extra $50, and you can haul away a countertop Klax Arcade machine as well. I know it works, but needs a bit of TLC. I just have the boards unhooked right now). My yard sale is next weekend. If someone wants this stuff... nows the time to shoot me an email.
  20. Where can I order one of these? I wonder if I am only visiting a mobile site rather than the normal site
  21. I currently live in Madison heights... I'm guessing maybe $200 for everything. You bring a vehicle and I'll even help load. There is a lot of stuff here... I just don't want to transport it.
  22. If you are local to me, and want to drive to my place, I have a group of items I will sell to an Atari Age Member really cheap. I basically don't want to deal with moving it to the new house. I have roughly 8-10 Atari 2600 systems (maybe 4-5 power supplies). (2 Atari Juniors, a few light sixers, and just good old fashioned Atari 2600 4-switchers) I have 2 boxes of controllers. Mostly 2600 joysticks, some newer Atari Flashback ones, some older ones, etc. Then I have a bunch of paddles and driving controllers. A few of these were original ones that have SEARS on them or something. SNES Tabletop Kiosk with the red light bar above the TV thing. The TV no longer wants to power on since I removed it from storage. I can hear the SNES running through the base (the speakers). I have a boxed Atari 5200 as well. That one has been in my house, and is in pretty good shape. Everything comes with a bit of free storage dust. I'd prefer to sell it all to someone that wants everything. If you really want some extra stuff, I'm sure we can figure that out as well (I have an old PSOne with the screen and a few games. Contact me... Otherwise I'll have a garage sale soon... and I'll pass out the joy of Atari for the locals for $10 a system.
