Single Status Update
Wales just qualified for Euro 2020. Funny how things work out. England and Wales both voted leave. Scotland voted remain. Now England and Wales are happy to be in Europe. Scotland are out of Europe. I just find that slightly ironic.

It might seem so, but basically the Euro qualifiers groups only had two direct qualification places per group, no other form of playoffs so ending 3rd, 4th, 5th would not have mattered as long as the previous Nations League performance had precedence.
However if NIR had managed to grab a direct spot, it had meant that either Germany or the Netherlands had joined Iceland for the division A playoffs, that Wales (in case they lost vs Hungary) had gone into division B playoffs and that Israel had been eliminated as far as I can tell. Yes, you probably need to program a super computer to calculate all of this.
