  1. ...where would you do it? I am seriously considering getting rid of my 5200 collection, I haven't played it in over a decade and I managed to procure a lot of doctor bills this year that I need to pay. I have Wico joysticks, but I really hate them. I don't have a keypad and I can't see spending the money for one at this point. I have an 800 with plenty of Glenn the 5200 Man discs, so I really won't miss it much. I know I'm not going to make the grand that I need to pay the bills, but where would you think I would stand to make the most? Should I post a sale thread here (please answer honestly ), or sell games separately on eBay? Should I bring the entire collection to NAVA next week? I've read that some people recommend selling a system with about 10 or so common games to get a higher price. When selling dupes before I never really cared about price, but I need to now. Most of you probably don't know me, I've been collecting for a long time but I keep a low profile. I can promise you that I'm not trolling or spamming, I'm just trying to make a little back on my investment. Thank you for any advice you can give.
  2. I don't do reviews of anything, but I really enjoyed the preview and I look forward to the book.
  3. I have a suitcase style 8 track holder. The carts fit fine in there, but they'll move around a lot because they're smaller. They definitely won't fit in the lazy susan type holder in the OP's post. The Atari interlocking wall mountable cart holders are probably the most common, the one in the above post probably much less so.
  4. Digital Press is doing a podcast, audio and video. I don't think it's on iTunes though. http://www.digitpress.com/forum/showthread.php?t=155351
  5. I always wondered this myself. He was pretty much staying home and taking care of Sean from 1975-1980 and wasn't recording in the studio until the middle of 1980, I think. He very well may have had one. I like to think so anyway.
  6. I also like Retrobits, and I totally missed the whole vintage computing/gaming era. His podcast is very informative and he obviously loves his hobby. I like the Retro League a lot, and I guess I am in the minority for liking the Retronauts. I am not as knowledgable about the NES era onwards as I am about the 2600 era, so I appreciate it for that reason. I could have sworn that Retrocity/Retroist were the same guy, but after listening back to back, I'm not so sure. I think Retrocity was done by Levi Buchanan, but there's no info on who hosts the Retroist, which is one of my current favorites. I wish Twitch Asylum would come back, I liked those guys a lot. Has anyone ever given up on a podcast where they enjoy the content but the sound is horrible?
  7. I am strangely turned on right now. I missed out on the Flashback 2, hopefully I'll be able to pick this one up, mainly for Adventure 2 and the new games I haven't heard of before. Thanks!
  8. I found a boxed one years ago for $1, but no manual. I won the manual last year on ebay for.... $35. I think that makes me an idiot, but I'm not sure.
