  1. @kheller2 I now own the entry in the registry that is under the name Airshack. James Shackel passed away about a year ago and left me his 1200XL. Please change the owner to myself. thanks Randy
  2. I have no idea. Is there a serial number that would tell me or do I have to open it up?
  3. It's https://github.com/RespeQt/RespeQt
  4. Jason, appreciate the kind words. I hope one or more projects for http://www.atariprojects.org come out of it! We need to figure out how to get that infectious enthusiasm back!
  5. ugh, of course! thanks sir
  6. When using the WebUI, I don't see how to mount a disk on the fly at all. There's a MOUNT ALL SLOTS option, which doesn't appear to do anything, and I have the option to EJECT disks, but that seems to be it.
  7. appreciate it! if you catch up, it will be pretty amazing!
  8. I brought the 1090XL remake with 320K RAM board; that I just got from @reifsnyderb. I would have loved to bring (or see there) an original 1090XL, but I don't own one!!! The exhibits were fantastic at the show; all across the board.
  9. I don't see this listed at archive.org, so I'm going to go ahead and upload this zip file there. As well as another zip file of the remaining JACG disks that I end up converting to digital. thank you!
  10. Excellent, thanks for the tips everyone! sounds like the overwhelming favorite for this is AtariMax SIO2PC. I actually love that peripheral and the APE software. I’m not familiar with MyCopyR. great tip about cleaning the head regularly. These disks look pretty clean, but you never know
  11. What workflow is best for archiving real disks to virtual disks?? What does everyone use? I’m thinking to use a real floppy drive (1050 or 810) and an SDrive MAX, SIO2SD, or FujiNet for the virtual drive. Load a virtual DOS disk in drive D1:, use a real drive for D2: with the disk to be archived, and use FujiNet or SDrive MAX for D3: for saving the virtual ATR to a blank formatted virtual disk. With FujiNet, it would seem that the Atari would have to be rebooted every time a new disk needs to be archived, unless I’m missing some feature I’m not aware of. Can you load new virtual disks without going back to FujiNet, putting a new blank virtual disk into a slot, and rebooting? thanks in advance Randy
  12. Yeah, I'm finding several disks that crash the emulator upon attempted boot. I'll re-archive those disks, assuming they run on real hardware.
  13. Hi, SimCheck does indeed show 256K of RAMBO-compatible extended RAM. FYI, I showed your 1090XL and the 320K RAM card at VCF SoCal this past weekend (Feb. 17-18). There was a lot of interest in the board! thanks!
  14. So, bought a 1090xL with 320K RAM board and can’t figure out how to use the extra memory if I use DOS 2.5 with Ramdisk.com it says “setting up 130XE Ramdisk” but there’s no accessible RAMDISK anyone know the best way to take advantage of this? Thanks in advance
  15. I see some disks archived by @Allan in another thread for the Jersey Atari Computer Society. I guess that's different than the Jersey Atari Computer Group ???
  16. Did these disks get archived???? I came into possession 119 JACG disks and wondered if I need to archive them or get them archived? @cx2k
  17. UPDATE: Total of 119 JACG disks. I don't really have the setup to archive all these. Surely some of them are archived somewhere?
  18. I don’t see the disks archived anywhere. For the newsletters, it looks like 3 of the 1985 ones that I have haven’t been archived and 6 of the 1986 ones haven’t been archived. So, 9 to scan and archive. Not too bad. I don’t have a good setup for scanning newsletters. I have to scan them one page at a time, manually setting up each page.
  19. I just got a set of JACG disks and newsletters into my possession from an Indy Vintage Computer Club member today. It includes March thru Dec. 1985 and Jan-Dec 1986 newsletters. It also includes a large number (probably around 100) disks from the JACG disk library. I see on archive.org that some of the newsletters from the time period I just acquired are missing. I can work on getting the missing ones archived. Not sure what to do with the disks. They seem to be in good shape (no obvious distress or mold) and most are probably readable. Has the JACG disk library been archived?
  20. This is great! Works for me. thanks!
  21. I have to say I have no interest in this. In my mind, that's no longer an Atari computer and what's the point? I'd rather do all those things as an extension of the real machine. Obviously, that's just my opinion.
  22. I'm very excited by all this! I think this is a killer way to upgrade the Atari 8-bit machines. I've been trying to get Brian to sell me some of this stuff, but I understand that it's still under development. I want the RAM upgrade, FujiNet, 80-column and probably other possible cards that haven't yet been thought of! Randy
  23. Very nice job, Thom!! Love the work that has been done and continues to be done for this outstanding Atari utility! Thanks for creating this video Randy
