  1. Osgeld - thanks, but David nailed it. Ugh... thanks David, that was exactly the problem. I even saw the same bug report and fix that you pointed out, but I just assumed the problem had resurfaced. I downloaded AppleWin just about two months ago, so I assumed I had the last version. I don't know how I wound up downloading v.1.25.0.3. Goofy. But thanks - the shortcut is working fine now.
  2. Not sure what I'm doing wrong, and hoping someone can help me... I've got a desktop shortcut to the most recent version of the AppleWin emulator (1.25.0.3), and it works fine. I figured I'd add a command line to the Target to have the shortcut boot up a game. So now my Target looks like this: "c:\AppleWin.exe" -d1 "g:\apple II\Hobbit.dsk" The shortcut doesn't even boot up the emulator now - it just pauses my mouse for a second and then nothing. I've double-checked that I've got the path and the rom name correct. What am I missing here? Thanks for anyone who can give me some insight!
  3. Well, problem sorta solved. I wasn't satisfied with the picture quality of the 7800 I had, so I bought an S-Video modded one of E-Bay (yes, I know it's apparently not that hard to do the mod myself, but I have more money than time right now...), and the harmony cart works great with it, Supercharger games and all. So I guess it'll be a while before I mess around with the one that doesn't work with Harmony and Supercharger games. Thanks for the help/advice anyway, everyone....
  4. Thanks all... I followed the link to the final version of the rom, and that works fine. I can see the bottom of the screen now... great game! I guess I did try using the PAL version - I always thought that would prevent me from seeing anything, not just run it off my screen. Well, thanks again!
  5. Hello! I'm wondering - I just downloaded the rom for Strat-O-Gems onto my Harmony SD, and tried playing it... the bottom of the screen runs off my TV, so that I can't see the bottom layer of gems when I play. Anyone have any ideas about why this might be happening? I don't have the same problem with any other game (for example, when I go from room to room in Adventure, the bottom of the screen is exactly where it should be). btw, sorry if there's a specific subforum for this kind of question - I'm a noob, and couldn't figure out what subforum this question would belong in...
  6. As I was looking for the mod instructions for getting supercharger games to work on my 7800, I ran across your post from 2009, Batari, where you say you got the supercharger games working through Harmony even on an evil version of the 7800. Is it just my luck that I've got an even more evil one...?
  7. Sigh. Nope, the Harmony doesn't work on my 7800 with supercharger roms. Well, I'm buying a new 7800 with an S-Video mod... hopefully, the supercharger roms will work on that one. If not, I'll take my chances at opening it up and trying to mod it. Still, the Harmony is pretty awesome. I live on South Beach, and all I did on a Friday night was play 30 year old Atari games. Thanks, Batari - you've destroyed my social life.
  8. Thanks Batari... I'll be buying my Harmony later today. Very excited!!!
  9. Ugh. If that's true, anyone know where I can find simple instructions for moding my 7800 to play starpath games? Thanks in advance again...
  10. I tried to see if this topic has been covered before, but couldn't find it, so apologies in advance... I have a 7800 that isn't compatible with Supercharger games. Will Harmony allow me to play these games on my 7800? Thanks!
