Belboz,s liveCD is great, but... i remember coding under win98 where i had some nice and simple gui tool to edit jaguar graphicfiles like rgb and cry is there also something for linux like this? would be very helpfull, on win 8 i only got tga2cry and would it be possible to update LiveCD image with such a tool? thx, greetings to all

Doubledragon, dinodudes, raiden, crescentgalaxy, bubsy, zool2, themepark, syndicate, zoop, brutalsports better one, lets say phase zero, complete and good 3d action game instead of all of them together because even on snes they where mostly shit :-(( vlad, you are doing a nice job

  6. think its not very simple coded game. very individual 3d engine maybe... and as i told you if it just takes some data from module-ram while playing you have big problems this game was released by the developers and only they got the source .. does anyone knof if they are still around? the coders?
  7. technicaly i dont know if its possible ... would be if the game just runs in memory with no need for cart rom but i think the developers left the jagscene.. long time no see so noone could change the code for a cd release sad

    i think Atari tried to be Rommel having only very few resources and tried to get strong with that less, by using information tactics and mythos they distributed news where no news where thats maybe one reason atari got 100 times more "unreleased" stuff than released
  11. ?? whats the differnece between sln smac and rln rmac? i use sln and smac because it was included in the windows dev environment

  13. one of the biggest problems in my oppinion startup and objectlist stuff confusing, to much freedom, to much ways to make misstakes, to much try n error, no (easy) ways to debug its a hard and far way to have a nice and flexible startup and organisation of objectlist the ones from atari (startup.s for example) are not very flexible and easy to modify its like writing graphicsdriver in asm using hardwaredocumentation even before you can start to think about coding something the jaguar cannot even do a "hello world" without coding/using a own textroutine !!! :-((((

Exactly same on me wanted to see 3D and textures, because i played 572 2D Games in row Some new style of Games like AvP, Doom, BIWN, PhaseZero, Skyhammer, Soulstar, Textured Racer, and and and and what came??? Doubledragon, Dinodudes, Bubys, Zool, Themepark, Raiden, CrescentGalaxy, Syndicate ... sorry that was titles that not even on SNES would look good in my opinion these cheap ports are responsible for Jaguars Fail
  16. JagCD: sadyl as far as i know only a medium addon, no extra cache or something like that :-( so i think only the content of a game could be extended Jag on 3D i think it can !!! Hoverstrike CD got an awesome 3D engine with very high resoluted Textures and dynamic lightning the big fault on this is that it uses Hovercraft physics (the hell know why) and thats an additional minus to have the game frames non fluent imagine replace the enemys by doomlike 2d enemys lower resolution back to hoverstrike (module) resolution (because most 3Dgames of this time had lower resolution than HoverstrikeCD) remove lightningeffekts then you could have an great full textured egoshooter for example and im sure framerate would be much better
  17. I think a game like PO'ed would be realistic on jaguar.. maybe better than 3do by using cry colormode a good coder that can split all the gamecode on the processors could do it maybe me.. in next life
  18. sadly the tool cannot open .cry or .rgb files directly i have to rename a .cry to a .bin to have a short preview

  20. Hi all, got problems with jagview.exe on windows8 (x64) got several errors like i also tried combatibility in "win98", but same problems anyone got an idea how i can make it working?
  21. yes.. 1 Jaguar Pal K model with 50-60 hz switch 1 Jaguar Pal K model BJL ROM nothing else to test... works good as you can see on the video just a frame sometimes looks not so correct but maybe i have to check the s-video cable i did, or the pins connection on the old floppyplug i took to made the cable
  22. sadly the first game (phase Zero) is the one that was not fullscreen, but the rest is... sometimes there is a frame (color) not okay i think but its cool and cheap to present jag stuff from a real machine on youtube, just a small USB stick for 15 € and thats it
