Kind of upset that Das Boot was only released on Bluray as the Director's Cut, and not the Original Director's Cut 5 hour version. The sound fx and English dubbing are much better on the 5 hour full lenght film

  I remember my friend and I watched this flick on VHS back in grade school. Only thing I recall was one guy asking the other if he had hair on his ass or something to that effected, he wanted to knit a sweater or something. We laughed our asses off at that.
