  1. Cool, maybe one day I'll get to play it. I knew I should have grabbed it on sale at babbages years ago!
  2. How is this game? I've never played it. I know is a pricey game these days so any info would be great!
  3. I have for sale primal rage for the Atari jag cd. Comes in tri fold disk case with instructions. Some wear to case and light scratches. Asking 45 bucks.
  4. I hooked up my jag unit with cd up to my led tv with composite cables. Turned it on and it played games but was making strange noise. Unhooked it, put it back on the old school crt with s video cables and bam, quiet and perfect. Then I turned on the led tv while playing on the other side of the room and the noises came right back! Is it from newer tv's not having as much rf shielding in them?
  5. Awesome, thanks gunstar! I'm liking this playing my alice in chains cd!
  6. Ok, sweet. Thanks. Do you know how to set it to random? One last thing, is it normal for there to be in the middle of the screen four lines forming a square but not connecting? It plays to the beats mostly bass but looks kind of out of place.
  7. I got mine used so it didn't have any instructions. Anyone know how?
  8. Got my Jag. Cd back yesterday. So far so good. They put a new motherboard in and I bot a new wc adapter. Thanks Brad@ Best Electronics!
  9. Same game, different label and says limitied edition on box.
  10. I like defender. Its a fun game. I never played protector. I'm wanting Atari karts next to play with friends.
  11. Tempest is a different game than defender. They are both excellent games on the jaguar. How is it sloppy? It feels like a completed game. Jeff minter kept his style but did a few things different and it came out nice. There's a reason it's a sought after game on the jaguar.
  12. Try to play defender 2000 its a very fun game made by Jeff Minter.
  13. I like it too. Its addictive!
  14. Try to do business with Americans. Once these guys get your money overseas, its hard to get back I hear. But yeah what a jackass.
  15. Any thoughts on this game? I like it. I've been playing it a little and I find it fun as well as good arcade style fun.
  16. Yeah, I do too. He's very smart when it comes to Atari products. Its just the whole thing breaking after a day that has me bummed. Things happen.
  17. He emailed me back. He says that a damaged adapter can cause overheating that will take a little time before it fries the motherboard. I might have just non overheated it playing short time periods as where they test them for the duration. I trust them so lets see what happens. The adapter guy gave me a refund. My last post was for the adapter guy and not Brad from Best Electronics. I got them confused when I was writing because I was pissed. He was the one telling me that adapters dont go bad. But he gave me a refund. Still blows though.
  18. I trust Brad so lets see. The seller of the adapter will give me a refund.
  19. My only thing is that wouldnt me using the thing for a day and a half have already fried the motherboard and he wouldnt be able to get it to work at all at first?
  20. Im trying to get the seller of the adapter to give me a refund so I said talk to best electronics.
  21. Bought this thing over a week ago, worked for a day and a hald, was sent back at my expense and got this response...Can you guys give some thoughts. It sounds weird. our Atari 29+ year Super Tech jumped on your Atari Jaguar CD Player the day it came in. He said he put it on his test bench and burned it in for 2 to 3 hours without a single problem. He said it played every Jaguar CD game he had including your Jaguar Hover Strike CD. Next he put your used Atari Jaguar US Power Supply on the same set up. He said your Jaguar CD player played for about 3/4 of an hour and then started to act goofy!! He said it would 1st show that the power plug was not plugged in. Next it would get the ? error. He said that your Jaguar Power supply is bad (he said it is about a 1/2 volt over normal and may have a thermo problem) and damaged the reconditioned Jaguar CD player U$D 100 motherboard. He said he tried a known good Jaguar Power supply right after getting those Jaguar CD errors using your old PS. He said he got the same errors on your CD Player using the same Jaguar power he had used to run the initial 2 to 3 hour 1st burn test. So he knows the Jaguar CD motherboard it now damaged So he put in a new Jaguar CD Motherboard and is again burning it in for a couple of days of continues burn in testing to make sure the Jaguar CD Read head was not damaged too
