Patience, knowing when to pull the trigger, trading? Trading is my favorite way to fill my collection when I can. Sadly I'm to the point where what I need, rare home-brews, most of those folks have what I have. I love upgrading to better than what I have and reselling. I find it a game. MOST of the time. If I had a lot of money, I'd pay a high price for stupid things I don't need like a Videoplexer and the Play Cable. Really though I've had great fun since I this forum and did the Portland Show.

I think it was the waiting time in the end that slowed me down. I know the items COME, but I would have hated sweating bullets waiting. I don't think it was a bad price, I got cold feet on that one…and really they were not upgrades to what I have so let someone else get 'em.

Before a tear apart a box and make my own Box Template I thought I see if any are out there for Intellivision. I found some 2600 ones which will work in a pinch. I've got a printer that prints 13 by 19 so want to build a template or the Cart only releases coming up…and home brew a box for a home brew game. Any "art free" templates out there for boxes? I've done a pretty good search today and haven't found much out there to print with fold or score lines. Don't need a cart holder. I do have one very cool simple idea…if it works I'll share.

Yeah, maybe. Still…I quite at $250 and $85. I figure twice the price for a box is about it for me for a Wico. I had other offers out for some sealed games which I got so all in all I salvaged the weekend along with a nice lot of games too. I live to fight another day!

Cool, my next project is a Sealed Happy Trails, one of the top 10 Intellivision games in addiction factor…and a personal favorite.

I try to behave most of the time…it does suck when you get outbid by the same people. LOL

Yes, I've lost a lot of auctions to him. I must say at times I've bid against him just to up the price. I guess I'm not very nice.

Over 260 for the Orphan overlays…out of my league. $90 for the Wico Command Control Joystick (Not complete - Did not have overlay guards). I lost 4 auctions this weekend, all of which I thought I was hitting a premium price point for. Time to dump Ebay, move to an eBay snipe type service and set your price and move on. I try not to go over the edge, but those overlays were sweet!

It's funny you get locked into bidding on something you want/need and you let something pass that you could use for trade bait…I need to win the lottery I think…or need an intervention.

I'm gonna have to sell another guitar to keep up with all this. LOL

Very cool, lots of good info. Very strange that the cable on the ebay model has the plug there…could be a hack an attempt at a hack job on a Coleco model. I totally forgot about the plastic sleeves! I've been pretty lame trying to get JZINTV to work at all. (Mac OS X) I haven't really busted my ass trying but when I do I give up fast. LOL
