  1. I tried to warn them, poor customers.
  2. http://www.ebay.com/itm/2-NEW-JOYSTICK-CONTROLLER-PADS-FOR-ATARI-2600-SYSTEM-JOY-STICK-/160862367790 http://www.ebay.com/itm/Wico-Command-Control-Controller-In-BOX-With-Y-Cable-for-Atari-5200-MEGA-RARE-/390853636889?pt=US_Video_Game_Controllers&hash=item5b00b13319 (sold) They assure me these will work with the 5200...
  3. I looked at 5200 on eBay for you. The're going little expensive right now. This is yard sale season and flea markets too. Considering the controllers that you'll get in a lot will be bad, I personally wouldn't pay more than $40 for a set up. Then maybe two dollars per game three if they have overlays and instructions. The controllers can be rebuilt pretty easily with the revision 9 flex cable. Those are on eBay and are not too expensive. The Waco sticks right now are insanely expensive, I wait till maybe the fall. They should cost no more than maybe 50+10 for shipping. If these prices seem a little bit high, please remember, I live in Connecticut. Sometimes I have to pay extra to find something. Finding things here, even at yard sale is getting tough. Good luck I hope you find one soon if I see something on eBay I'll let you know.
  4. I love this game as well. One of the best ever for the 5200. They never released it for another console until the PSP. I do see the slow down, but I don't think I ever made it past lever 12. Most of the time, I don't make it to level 5. You must be awesome at it.
  5. As a kid, somehow I was always able to fix the controllers. They were a problem, but I felt they were better than Intellivision. I was able to maneuver. As an adult, I use a 5200 to PC cord with a Mako Pro. I have a Wico in the box, but I don't use it much. I have one stock controller that was very well rebuild with extra carbon dots, and gold rev 9. I use that as left for Space Dungeon. I have 3 5200's a four, a two, and a four that was modded at the factory for the 2600 adapter. As said, I have the Atarimax. This is the (vintage) system I use most. Having one as a kid is why I am attached to the system. One of the best joint gifts my Sister, and I ever got. We never knew it was a modded A8. I am very happy that the third parties made good controllers. I never had one as a kid, I made due (I thought I invented putting foil dots on the carbon to find out many kids figured the same thing). If Atari got the controllers right the first time (and this system lasted longer), it could have been a big hit. People would forgive the fact that it is big, and wired differently.
  6. I have all, but I am still working on the track ball.

  12. As for me, I have no interest in owning a machine that I cannot repair when the joysticks break down, if I can even find one that works in the first place. $15, and 15 minutes fixes a joystick, that excuse is moot today. Finding them is easy, I trip over them.
  13. You know, honestly... I haven't that much money to spend. I am not a man of means, and that is for me to live with. I just have more needs than wants. $50 is a ton to me. I'm not bitchin', I just offered that both sides listen to each other. Let's not muddy the water that lies between developers, and players.
  14. The Starks were right.

  15. Finish Game of Thrones, or "Dean" (community is back) the kitchen? Game of Thrones, or vacuum? Game of Thrones, or eBay? Game of Thrones, or Grocery shop? Games, or Life? Hmmmm. GAMES!

  16. Thanks for the heads up. I'll have to put this on my wish list. You say you look to look for this stuff. I just started. I watched a whole thing on how Pitfall was made. Cool stuff! do you (or anyone) have any other good titles to suggest? On the Tube, or on DVD.
