    Back before they lifted the mask mandate,  I was strolling through King Sooper's and I (possibly) recognized the voice on the PA explaining to wear the masks and be safe etc.  And I'm like That's Spike from Cowboy Bebop!!...(Or Roger Smith from Big O! etc.)...Now I'm not 100% sure that it was Steven Jay Blum, but it sure sounded like him...Rather comforting for anime fans I think ;)

    For the first time in a while, I had to seriously practice playing the violin. LOTS of shifting on the E string, and my fingers feel like the skin is peeling off. Damn Tchaikovsky.

    I get a huge high from solving a problem in code that I struggled with. It feels like completing a difficult crossword puzzle but times it by 10. Such a great feeling. Dopamine levels just fire off like rockets. Had another one of those moments tonight  after a couple days of struggling... Alright, back to work ?

    The sound of post-tenant house rehabilitation taking place next door starting each morning at 7.30am is a small price to pay for having those people gone.

     

    When you have to call the cops on someone resident there for having a domestic in the middle of the street, then find out after they're arrested that they were wanted on 30 outstanding felony counts (yes, really - 30 is not a typo), you probably don't want to have anything to do with those folks.

      Wow, I suggest you give it a try!

       

      It was the first game to make use of polygon enemies

      (they look so 3D, that they look like they're coming out of your monitor)

      (mind you this was in 1996, when it first came out).

       

      Pioneer coding techniques, of course...
