I did not know there was an internal speaker on any ST variant.

with their internal speakers?

To me, that was a huge plus.

So I understand the ST has zero latency

which is a very good thing.

 

All i know is when i play

Rick Dangerous or Llamatron

the digitized voice effects are very smooth

and seamless.  I like that.

 

Remembering 8bit days like Berzerk

or Whomper Stomper, the game must

pause for the effect.

 

And zero latency is for MIDI too, I think.
