Yeah, I love my 2X-Pro, but I'm definitely not dropping the cash for this until someone tests it with a 2600 and only then if there's a noticeable upgrade. I think the 2X-Pro already makes the picture gorgeous on my modern TV, but we'll see!

My gf and I have had issues with USPS packages being SEVERELY delayed since mid-November. Your experiences echo ours. I'm guessing it's going to be this way for a while due to COVID-19.

Since you're already a member, you can log into Discord and the server should appear. Unless I'm mistaken the Discord link on the forums homepage on AA isn't a link to Discord per se, but rather, is just an invite link in case you aren't on it already. Then you can go to Discord proper and hop on. (I may be mistaken but this is what I think is going on. I just tried it and the same thing happened to me).

@Atarian7 Oh no! I'd be pretty annoyed if there wasn't any discernible reason for it.

@Atarian7 Only about half a foot, bu the last round of storms we had in the summer knocked the power out twice in two weeks since so many trees are near power lines. Some snow would make everything look way prettier, which I guess I'll take at this point in 2020 over a night of not being able to play Atari, lol.

Faintly reminds me of the trend of making so many games "open-world" for the past decade.

HA! I was thinking the same. Will have to limit myself to 1-2 games per month, but... wow. Glorious. With my Xbox GPU subscription I'm set for modern games, anyway.

I don’t have one. My next system purchase will only be a Series X for the foreseeable future to beef up my Xbox library, but the Evercade seems neat. Glad you both dig it! 

I wonder how the Evercade will do in the long term. It's such an incredibly niche product, but it looks like it could be a fun little purchase down the road.

Thanks for sharing your experience! I plan on using a couple other consoles with the RetroTink but I'll keep that in mind for my Atari gaming w/ my Harmony Encore. Fingers crossed I don't run into any issues.

That was my original plan until I saw the price for the OSSC and realized the price of an RGB mod kit + the labor cost of paying someone here to do it for me... The RetroTink 2x Pro seems like a budget option even if I'm taking a hit with the quality compared to the OSSC. Thanks to you too though. I suppose what you proposed literally is the best option, I just don't have the money or the know-how (I'm guessing having someone on these forums do it would run me about $150).

My only issue with the Retron 77 is that it won't work with my Harmony Encore flash card. Thank you for the input though!
