  1. Shame about the busted hinges, I love Lites. Best of luck with the sale!
  2. I see, thanks guys. For the system (loose) and 20-30 loose common games, what should I be paying? (Supposedly everything works "great".) Not really an INTV guy, so thanks in advance -
  3. There is an INTV for sale locally along with a pile of (what I believe to be?) common games. All games seem to have their overlays and manuals, as well. My question is, whats with the 'Super Pro' bit on the console? I have owned a few INTVs over the years, and not seen this particular lettering on any of them. Thanks for any and all help!
  4. Not sure if this is what you are after, (salvageable parts?) but I have a few Game Gears that are in decent shape and have strong speakers. I have a pile of games, as well.
  5. Looks neat, is it some sort of PSP-like clone? "Ice Cream Sandwich" - what on earth?! I'll have to do a bit of research on this thing, I'm very curious.
  6. NES, without question. (Followed closely by the mighty SMS.) I owned and played roughly 30 or so 7800 games, and if I'm being perfectly honest and taking off the nostalgia glasses, I really had very little fun with most of those games, in comparison with the Nintendo/Sega greats of the era. When I got my first 7800, it had a dozen or so carts with it, and I remember thinking "Wow....is Atari even aware of what Nintendo, Sega, and NEC are doing??" My friends all felt the same, at the time - "This looks and plays like something from ten years earlier!" Ah well, I did enjoy a FEW 7800 games over the years, and as they say; to each their own! Oh, and it was mind-bogglingly rad that the 7800 played 2600 carts, heh, almost magical at the time.
  7. (Please forgive any ignorance/mis-terminologies in advance, as my understanding of such things would fill roughly half a thimble.) In a nutshell, I desperately want to be able to play this game on a DS/GBA. I have tried many roms, but each one had its own set of issues/troubles. What I'm wondering is, with the vast amount of hacking, programming, etc. being done these days, is this at ALL possible to achieve? I have seen and played some utterly amazing 'home-done' stuff, but the notion of having my beloved MTPO on a tiny cart that I could just pop into an SP/DS delights me to no end. Is there a way to, I dunno how to phrase myself here, "put" the game data onto a GBA/DS chip, or? Perhaps a cool little printed/custom label and all? In this age of amazing technologies, is this at all possible, or just a pipe dream that I'll simply have to keep having? (Millions of games readily available in rom form, yet my favorite NES game of all time is not among them...sigh...dammit all....I have several hard copies of this game, but they just won't fit into a GameBoy slot! ) NES games are obviously 'lower-powered' than what the GBA/DS can do, (right?) so what gives? Thanks for any and all information.
  8. I have a pile of these....'V Tech', 'LeapFrog', 'Didji', etc. etc. We have been subconsciously hoarding them from the GoodWills and fleas over the years, it seems. (The dedicated handhelds, not the consoles that you'd hook up to a tv.) I've got a pretty good pile of the various cartridges, as well - all shapes, sizes, and colors.
  9. I've got a large Rubbermaid tote overflowing with various controllers and cordage. There are cords that I have NO clue about, and most of the controllers will have to go 'untested'/as-is as I no longer have the consoles to test them on. (DreamCast, I'm looking at you.) I'm not wanting/expecting much for these, and if I'm being honest, I'd rather the whole MESS was out of here as I'm tired of storing a huge container of things that I'll likely never touch again. I figured with so many tech-minded people here, that SOME use could be put to these things before frustration finally takes me over and I toss the whole lot into the dumpster. I can take pictures of the whole ugly hornets nest, should anyone care to see.
  10. Thanks, Chris, but I have a few of those 'Funpacks' already. (Which aren't much FUN, at all, if you ask me! ) O.P. - You have a PM. Thanks again, everyone; Please keep the offers coming.
  11. Thanks Cassidy, but I don't really mess with boxed stuff. I have a life to live - games need to be PLAYED not taunting me from behind plastic wrap!
  12. I have those, but thanks, though! (Also, I PMed you about some GB stuff around a month ago, heh, got no reply...)
  13. If you have any GB carts hanging around, I'd love to hear about them. I always have plenty on the trade table, and good 'ol $$$, as well. I am by no means a 'label whore', so condition isn't really an issue. (I only ask that they play and the contacts are good.) Thanks!
  14. Back to reality -or- On to the POINT of this thread..... Love the knock-off/home done Poke games, always meant to pick some of those up as gifts. I'm wondering if you have any OTHER games, not listed? I'm into GB/GBC/GBA carts, would be interested in hearing what you have.
  15. "I don't care and I don't give a shit. Point is whoever the fuck you are, you sold me counterfeit items. I don't give a shit if you have a dick or a pussy." Wow....is this the normal/accepted protocol here? I mean, regardless of the 'situation', this is all appearing rather ugly and dark, for seemingly no reason. I can't imagine speaking to someone that way in a public forum, let alone over such a gray area situation. y-i-k-e-s Also, as far as the "You lied WAY too much for us to believe you" bit, maybe omit the "us", as it seems you are speaking/ranting on your own behalf. Hope this can come to a peaceable conclusion, but that can often be tricky when the 'Frankenstein/pitchforks' mentality comes into play...
  16. I'll be sure to read your article. I love, love, LOVE Heiankyo Alien. I am aware of some of the game's unique history, such as being created by Japanese students. (As I recall?) Thanks
  17. Hi. Do you know if you have any issues of Pocket Gamer/Games or any others that focus on handhelds? Thanks
  18. Hmm, well I haven't played on a Lynx in 15 years or more, but I enjoyed these quite a bit: (In no particular order, and I couldn't keep it to just five) Slime World Elvira's Pinball Chip's Challenge (Though I sucked at it) Switchblade II (I know, I know, but it always reminded me of the 'darker' side-scrollers, like Journey to Silius and Kabuki Quantum Fighter) Scrapyard Dog Dracula Viking Child California Games (BMX only, please) Enjoy your Lynx!
  19. Sure, Castlevania (NES) was released when I was 14 or so, and that was all she wrote. Same goes for Metroid and Resident Evil. I have been obsessed with these particular series since the start. There are several Zelda games that I feel this way about, as well - namely the handheld versions and the first NES game. As for stand alone titles, Mike Tyson's Punch-Out would be at the top of my 'desert island/lonely space station' games. (I have several copies of this game, you know, "just in case". )
  20. Hi. I'm looking for many of the portable Castlevania games. (stuff on the Big N systems, please) I'd like to hear about what you might have. In most cases, I don't mind having doubles/triples of these games. I always keep various game-related trade goods on hand for such things. Thanks!
