    Btw thanks to @Bill Loguidice for the AliExpress link. Since it was my first order with them I paid 1.95 for 10 sleeves and shipping was free! 🎊 Yes, what I meant is if the sleeve in that kind of box has no holes, while the small hooks are in there, it means it's not the original sleeve.

    I just checked my games and I just threw away 3 sleeves! Two of them were still largely OK but started to be slightly sticky, and one was clearly on the verge of going wrong (not as bad as the one I already threw away though). And I don't want to check too often... But as I said, I suspect that some sleeves have already been replaced, especially since they don't look the same (and one lacks the two holes that are present in most recent releases).

    The problem with traditional racers on the Saturn is that SEGA Rally is so good it makes everything looks bad in comparison.

    Yes, fortunately, I only had ONE melting sleeve, and since I had two copies of the same game, I kept the sleeve when I resold one. 😉 Actually, I'm surprised a lot of them are in good condition, but it's possible some of them were already replaced (the sleeve texture is not consistent), and the climate may have an impact as well. The Japanese weather is a huge problem for the preservation of video games (especially floppy disks).

    Yes, it has always been, despite the strong German input. Actually working in Germany was a good idea since they are very strict about censorship there, but I always said Amico games cater too much to the US crowd: cornhole, baseball, Evel Knievel... And the weird basketball franchise (don't remember the name). We don't care about them in Europe. Tallarico wanted a bocce game but of course it never materialized.

    The MVSX is not new, though (it was released at the end of 2020); it's just that it didn't exist in "mini" form until recently. I'm not sure it's from the same maker of the NeoGeo Mini, so it's not exactly a new, late model of that.

    I don't understand the "hate" towards Tanglewood and Xeno Crisis. I know Shaun Musgrave agrees with you, but it's one of my favorite carts. I really prefer a cart with few excellent games than a ton of mediocre games, and I'm more interested in homebrew games than "classics" (which don't always age well).

    I loved it for its music, but I wouldn't say the frame rate was good, especially since it dropped every time you drove underneath something... It was clearly not as good as SEGA Rally.
