I finally played Atari with a Sega Genesis controller last night. Have been avoiding it as a purist. Should have done it much sooner, new high score on A8 frogger. Dpad much easier to control.

  You SHOULD have done that a long time ago! Atari joysticks are crap. Pretty much all controllers from before the crash are lousy.

  I can't play Yars' Revenge without an original joystick. My brain is wired to move with right hand and shoot with left. I try to reverse that and I can't play. weird, huh? o_O

  Wow. You're late to the party by like 25 years! Do you remember the "Win At Video Games" book that recommended that you CROSS YOUR ARMS playing Donkey Kong so you could use your right hand to control Mario? Seems so weird now. I can't use my right thumb to control a game nowadays to save my life. D-pad on the left is normal to me.
