  1. Finally found Wolfenstein 3d for 3DO for a reasonable price (even came with Jurassic Park interactive). Excited to try it out and compare with Jag, Mac, and PC versions.

      My opinion - Star Control II is still the definitive shining star of the 3DO library. Street Fighter II is excellent but the loading times are almost unforgivable. I also enjoyed PO'd, Return Fire, Space Hulk and Lucienne's Quest to name a few.

      As I recall, the 3DO version is best of all worlds -- new graphics, all the levels. 
       

      The Mac version has the new graphics but you have to buy the add on levels. 
       

      The Jag version has the new graphics (and they POP on the big screen) but it ends too soon. I think it's basically the same as the free Mac shareware levels, but for sixty bucks. You can tell a game is short when it's finished by stupid old me.

      And the local play n trade had an FZ-10 for a reasonable price today. When it rains it pours!
