Downloaded EmuDeck for my Steamdeck. It rocks! It's so strange playing Jaguar homebrews in bed on a handheld.

I used ChatGPT to write my Christmas thank you letters this year. Hope I don't get on the naughty list for it.

Hooked up a brand new Onkyo DX-C390 six-disc changer in my office today. Probably the last component disc changer anyone reputable will ever make! We'll see! My Harmon-Kardon five-disc changer from 2000 is alive and well doing living room duty. Love listening to an album in its entirety.

Yep it's great to be able to buy these quality hi-fi components for like next to nothing at yard sales, thrift stores and such. And no, deluded people, those tiny little TV speakers that cost like 26 cents from a Chinese sweat shop are not as good -- not even close.
Sure modern music purchasing is convenient, but I miss the days of going to the mall and spending my hard earned allowance (dish duty, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping) on the latest Ratt album (Invasion of Your Privacy, for example) in 1985.

Let it be known that I Love 6 Disc changers!!
I have a Pioneer in my bedroom with a another Pioneer (thrift shop find) as back up if this one ever dies...
But I don't (usually) have the time/patience/mental fortitude these days to get through a Whole album. I loved them for RANDOM, so I Never knew what was coming next...Then and now...But now even more so as I make CD comps with lots of variety.

Got a Commodore64 Mini finally. What are the "must play" games on here, not overly familiar with the library. TY.

Impossible Mission is on there. If you've never played it then give it a shot. Who Dares Wins is a nice Commando clone, and if you update then you get Galencia which is a nice Galaga-like homebrew. Someone will probably recommend the Epyx mult-event games. Try the C64 version of World Games. It has unique songs for each of the events that take advantage of the C64 specs nicely.

Random list off the top of my head: Jumpman & Jumpman Jr, Realms of Impossibility, Lazarian, Raid Over Moscow, Racing Destruction Set, Bruce Lee, Ultimate Wizard... https://www.lemon64.com/ has a rated list if you click on "Games" on the top, but a lot of the best once aren't as good without a keyboard and saving (Pool of Radiance, etc).

The Steam deck has been a game changer for me. Probably the only next gen console I need.

@Albert there is a Steam deck thread! I will get another Nintendo if it's backwards compatible with the Switch Cartridges, but I really think i'm all set with the Xbox's and Playstation's at this point. No more walled gardens, I can wait for games to trickle down.

Come play Ms. Pac-Man in the Lynx High Score Club! Who doesn't like Ms. Pac-Man!? They said the best of the best were going to be back in town....prove it! (CHOMP)

Atari Jaguar High Score Club is BACK!! Do the Math, and come down to The Cave to play and post some scores!

Anyone happen to have a manual for Road Rash for the original Gameboy? In desperate need of a scan if anyone is willing to hook me up.

I have received two Eon Super 64's from Amazon now; neither would put out a video signal. About to give up on this thing. For $160 you think it would work properly!

Just moved to the Charelston SC area (Summerville). Any AAer's down in this area?!

I have been doing nothing but packing for weeks and will be packing for the next two until closing. I think packing a house forever would be my own personal hell. My advice: Don't move ever unless you really really need to! LOL. Also my collection seems obscene now that i'm trying to fit it all in boxes.

Come play STUN Runner in the Lynx HSC: Lynx High Score Club 2021/2 Mini Season: Round 15 - Stun Runner - Lynx High Score Club - AtariAge Forums

Does anyone make a high quality grip attachment for the PSP? I love playing mine; but my hands are too big for it and cramp up after a while.

I think i have finally talked my wife into moving down south (coastal SC, GA, or FL) Just sick and tired of being freezing cold for half the year. We like warm weather so why punish ourselves!

@Random Terrain - isn't that southern California? The problem is that it's so overcrowded and ridiculously expensive I don't know who'd want to live there. Georgia and Florida both have a wide range of good weather. FL is pretty broad, like Rogerpoco said, the northern part of Florida isn't tropical per se, but still beautiful and winters are mild. Central FL (Orlando-ish) does get pretty hot (mid-90s+ in summer), but it bounces off freezing every year for a week or two in Jan/Feb.

Centipede: Recharged and Black Widow: Recharged are free on the Epic Games Store right now!

No idea.
Not sure how the revenue distribution happens with Epic whatever store. To me, that seems very quick for some newer flagship titles to be offered up for free.
Then again, Xbox Gamepass offers up new indie games for free on a regular basis, but how they comp the developers is a mystery to me. Per download, per use, or just as a method of free widespread exposure? Who knows. Welcome to the new world of digital games, I guess.

Back from 8 internet free days in the Caribbean. Good times on nice beaches with many rum punches consumed. Will get HSC things updated shortly! (aka by tomorrow)

Opening NOS is one of the great small pleasures in life. Cracked open a Panasonic SL-SV590 today that had been waiting since 2006 just for me.
