Somebody did a 1080p restoration of Song of the South and posted it at archive.org
Song of the South (1080p 35mm Restoration) : Free Download, Borrow, and Streaming : Internet Archive
The ISO image to burn to a blank Blu-ray disc is almost 21GB.

I saw a few Xbox Series S at the local walmart today (3) first time i've seen any "next gen" consoles at retail.

Watched Karate Kid last night; to me the most improbable part is that Elizabeth Shue would be interested romantically in a new unpopular kid who looks like her little brother.

Ya, Cobra, "New Kid" is big time-also...
I guess something some people have trouble accepting is that some people are just made "prettier" than others. Being "Big, Strong MAN!" doesn't always equate to attractiveness, and Ralph Macchio was a "good looking" dude, and frankly, part of the unsaid storyline outside of Daniel stealing the dude's girlfriend, is that popular, rich Dudes don't tend to like good-looking dudes too much, they know they are a threat.
Lol, I wasn't any good at it, but it seemed like I had to fight every single weekend growing up in North Florida, being pretty ain't always all it's cracked up to be.
(Yes, I said it...)
(Did accidentally beat up one of the dudes that started Shinedown tho, that was pretty cool!).
Definitely-was way after the movie came out, but I moved from North Florida to Tennessee half way thru high school, and pretty much went thru some of the same hassling Daniel did, but I did have a few good Friends, that helped.
Being from "anywhere else", even if you look the same, is "exotic".
PLEASE don't make me dig up my Senior pictures to back up my bravado, lol, just trust me.

I'm halfway through Ready Player One and the book lives up to the hype. Should have read it sooner. If you are on AA, there is a 99% chance you will love it.

So Mark Zucks latest great idea is to copy OASIS from Ready Player One? What a knob.

Should I get the C64 Mini off Amazon or wait for the full size one coming "soon" to the USA.

If I’m not mistaking what you refer to with some other release, we’ve had the ‘full’ C64 in Norway for some years now.
My bro bought it.
The joystick included was stiff and liw-quality (some slight/light jam) but you can buy others.
Very few games are included, so you’ll need to download roms (the money these companies can get from such antiquated releases are close to zero when bound up with other deals).
Had a blast finally getting to play through SuperTrux with unlimited time, trying Pole Position II, and re-visiting many olden goldies.
Download -> put on USB -> insert into C64 retro-full-version and play.
But get a proper joystick for it, as the one included is kinda semi-crappy if not exactly complete disaster.
Hope this helps.
Good gaming.

Now we are talking. I could make some phone calls, move some money and make that deal.
Unfortunately, I think that DVD is a lot more rare here in Norway. My brother buys and sells DVDs as a hobby. If he stumbles upon it, he might remember that I want to see it.
I once mentioned that I had watched some of "How the West Was Won" (the series) and thought it was great. The following Christmas the DVD box-set was under the tree.

I sent a well-packed and addressed TurboDuo to Colorado Springs for repair. It went to Denver, Pittsburgh, and is now lingering in Massachusetts. WHY!? USPS can sure give me anxiety.

I hear ya. And yet I try to say, Relax, just make sure it's insured. But it seems like not all that long ago insurance wasn't some extra fee. Am I misremembering? I sent 2 7800s to Canada to be S-video/AV modded and UPS managed to bang up the package ( ? ) and put some serious scratches, with tiny missing plastic pieces on One of them. But dealing with them was TBH, pretty painless. I think If I'd wanted to I COULD have made them get on eBay Buy me 2 7800s, and send those to Canada, etc. But I'd been so long without them, and hadn't even played a 7800 yet...So I took the cash; I think They gave me $75 for those scratches!

Trying to fix a CX-80 Trak Ball for my 7800. Does anyone offer parts/refurb kits for these?

You could spend years selling it and make a sizable profit; but really just a lot of good movies to watch, haha. The great thing about a bulk collection like this is you could get the discs for pennies on the dollar. A few hundred bucks ought to get it, 300-600 unless the seller is really stubborn. Never hurts to ask.

I was carrying three Painline 7800 Controllers this AM and one slipped and fell and shattered into like 6 pieces on my basement floor. I hate doing stuff like that.
