  1. I wish I had known that Champ Games would be producing their own games.  I would have left those off my order to buy at a later date directly.  It would have saved Al a ton of work if we had known those games would still be available.  It would be great if Atari would hire another employee to help Al with the AtariAge game distribution and whatever else he may need...
I'm just waiting to see if I'll hit the 1 year anniversary of my order date before my orders ship 😏😆  I just keep reminding myself I have tons of stuff to play in the meantime.

  2. I'm experiencing all the same issues.  It's hard to hold the joystick when there are buttons spread out over every centimeter of it.  I've only tinkered with it for a couple hours, so I want to give it more time before making any final decisions.  The joystick is pretty depressing though.  Some games work, others do not work from USB, despite having extensions that are compatible.  I'm having no luck with any Atari 5200 .bin files so far, but maybe I'm missing something.  😏

  3. Bought this to use with my Atari XEGS system.  The keyboard doesn't work on my XEGS so I've been unable to play any games on it.  The cart is new and will come with an SD card installed and ready to go.  $50 shipped anywhere in the USA.  Paypal.
I also have listed my XEGS system for sale.  I just have too many projects so I'm trying to clear out some stuff.  Thanks for looking.

  4. Atari XE Game Console. Comes complete with console, keyboard, light gun, power cable and AV cable. Built in game of missile command and Basic OS. Console has been tested and works. The light gun works great (tested with the game bug hunt). The light gun is missing the sticker on one side (see photos). The keyboard has a brand new keyboard mylar installed. However, the keyboard does not register input most of the time. Its sporadic, sometimes it works fine, most other times it does not.  Price for the console is $150.  Cash in person, or Paypal if you are interested in shipping (USA).  Shipping would cost additional, I'll need a zip code to get you an estimate.

    ---

I also have the following XE games which I can sell individually, or as a lot (see photo of 7 games).  If you take the console and all the games the cost would be $275.  Your welcome to do local pickup.  I'm in Florida.

  5. A few odds and ends I'd like to clear out.  Shipping is not included, but will ship at cost first class or priority depending on weight and preference.  USA/PAYPAL.

SOLD SOLD SOLD!  - SNES dust cover (pleather) $20.  I'll include the NES dust cover, as well, for free.  I spilled my Guinness in it awhile back.  Its stained but works fine.  It doesn't show on the side that counts. (sorry, no Guinness smell, it's long since dissipated which is why it's free instead of $200 extra)

Atari Jaguar internal game tray inserts.  22 of them.  $3 each.  Prefer to sell in lots of at least 5.

Mini DVD's (good for Gamecube backups.  99 Hard Cases  $15

100 mini sleeves and 99 mini DVDR 4x unused discs.  Philips brand.  $25

You are also welcome to pick up anything in person if you happen to be on the west coast of Florida near Crystal River (just north of Tampa for those who are curious)

  6. Gameboy Advance (classic) for Parts/Repair. Includes new green case and 2 new screen covers along with the buttons.  I bought this with the intention of swapping it into the new case and repairing it.  Its been in my closet for a year...guess it's time to let it go to someone with the time and inclination to bring it back to life.

$40 shipped in the USA.  Paypal only.  I'll send tracking number.

The console is in excellent working condition. It is very clean, glossy and damage free. Console bundle (everything listed above): $400 Cash

**TRADE CONSIDERED: I will consider trading this Atari Jaguar bundle for a new, boxed Nintendo Switch OLED Pokemon edition (sealed preferred) and an official, Nintendo licensed, Switch Pro controller (straight trade).  Also on the hunt for an Xstation modded original playstation with laserbear mount (I'll consider this $250 towards trade value).   I may consider shipping.

  8. I am an Atari book addict.  Somehow I missed the We Love Atari set.  I'm hoping the set will get reprinted so I can order.  I just ordered the Lynx book.  I can't wait to get it!

Thank you for your hard work on this.

I've not noticed 1 model being any better than the other in those regards, but I've personally "fixed" about a dozen toaster NES consoles with Blinking Light Win.   Not sure if it's still readily available, but that thing has really lived up to the hype for me.

If there's another model or fix out there that compares, I've not found it.

Thank you for this.  I've never heard of it.  After doing some digging it looks like it is currently out of stock and they are having some supply issues.  ?‍♂️  Hopefully they will become available again in the not to distant future, but I'm not holding my breath.  I'd really like to give this a try though, as it sounds like a good "fix".

  10. I have the original toaster NES.  I'm thinking about getting a second NES so I don't have to fight with the cartridges to get the games to work.  Some games work right off the bat, while others I have to fiddle with over and over to get them to fire up.  I've cleaned all the games with ISO alcohol and the 72 pin has been refurbished.  The pins are so tight it's a bit hard to pull the carts out.  Since some games work on the first try, while others have to be fought with, I'm not sure if it's just the games, or the fickle NES design.  So tell me...is it worth it to get a different model NES to alleviate this issue?

If so, which NES is the best to get?  I've read articles that indicate the Famicom AV is recommended as it has composite out, unlike the US top loader, so the video quality is better without modification needed.  Apparently you can use an adapter to play NTSC games on this model.

So hit me with your best thoughts!

  11. I don't have one myself, but have heard a lot of good things about the system.  It seems pretty solid and it's a no brainer if you want to play on a modern TV.  Just be sure to put your TV in "Game" mode, if it has that option.  Hopefully some owners of this system can pitch in with more advice!

Check the channel switch on the console, it may be (inadvertently) set on channel 2 rather than 3 so try that, you may also want to flip between channels 2 and 3 on the TV itself to see if I'm right or not, but it just might simply be that, no sense of your unit going out on you for (what appears to be) no reason at all.

Gave that a try and no joy.  :(

  13. I have a two port Atari 5200 console.  It's in really nice shape (like new).  It's been working fine.  Its been several months since I last played it.  Today I fired it up and I now have a garbled gray screen.  You can make out a little bit of the game picture, so it's not all static.

I've always had the console connected to a CRT television via the coaxial cable (channel 3).

I did try adjusting the color adjustment pot, but it made no difference.  I'll use a test cart to recalibrate if I can get it back up and running proper.

Any idea on where I should start with troubleshooting?

    Thanks
