  1. Thank you for the info from this wonderful podcast. I didn't understand everything with my school English, but what I did understand was very interesting. I also have wonderful memories of my Videopac days. Philips here in Germany has done a fantastic job in my opinion. With the Commander Rom Club, stickers, posters, postcards and much more. I had a lot of contact with the club but also with Philips directly, who had always dealt with me in a very friendly way. It should not be forgotten that I was about 12 years old at the time when I drew her attention to the flashing dots falling on the lines at Videopac 38 (Munchkin). I was supposed to make a VHS recording of it and from then on we had a lot of correspondence. They sent me several new Videopac 38 cartridges for testing, but they all had the same error. As a result, they suspected a serial error and wanted to check the program code, because the behavior of the game could not be found in any documentation. With this little story, I just wanted to show how kind a multimillion-dollar corporation was to a child. They wouldn't have been able to answer at all. Therefore, I have only wonderful memories of that time, which is also the reason that I am still a huge Videopac fan and slowly reach my limits with my collection. And this podcast was like a little time machine back there. Thank you very much for that.
  2. Thank you very much. I'm glad you like it. I've often thought about quitting, but I'm always very happy when I see how many people watch these videos. Games from a device that's now over 40 years old. So there's more out there than me who love this piece of technology so much.
  3. Hi everyone! I've been posting some videos with Odyssey2/Videopac games lately. These are unreleased games, well-known titles, and homebrews that have been upgraded. For all those who don't know my little YouTube fan channel yet, I would be very happy about a visit. I wish you all a Merry Christmas and a wonderful New Year! https://www.youtube.com/@tombeckcollect...
  4. In cooperation with Rafael Cardoso and the Brazilian Odyssey2 Fan Page www.experienciaodyssey.com.br/ , I recently present Rafael's very latest games on my small YouTube channel, which are not yet released or will only be released soon. I would like to thank Rafael for his trust and support in my small project. I would be very happy about your visit and hope you like the little preview of future games. In order not to miss any unreleased super hit by Rafael, I would also be very happy about a subscription that would motivate me to continue. Thank you in advance for your support. 😂 https://www.youtube.com/@tombeckcollect...
  5. Hi ! I recently uploaded a video (also in english) on my small YouTube channel that deals with the Divoom Pixxo LED-Panel (Digital Picture/Photo Frame). Since I'm a big Odyssey2/Videopac fan, I created some animations for it. You are welcome to have a look at them there and if you own one of these picture frames, you can save my animations from the Appstore to this frame at any time, as I have made them available for download there. Have fun with it.
  6. Thank you very much for the kind words and thank you for subscribing to my channel. Above all, I wanted to use my channel to ensure that this wonderful video game is not completely forgotten.

  8. Thank you Chris. I'm very happy that you like it.
  9. I was fortunate enough to own this video game as a child. It totally fascinated me at the time. And that's why I still love it to this day.
  10. Thank you very much for your answer and the subscription. I thought I was all alone with my hobby. I am glad that there are more people who love this system.
  11. Hello Odyssey2 fans, ? I have been a huge fan of the Videopac/Odyssey2 video game since I was a kid. I have never sold anything and more and more have been added. Over time, a nice collection has come together with games from Europe (Videopac from Philips, Radiola and Siera), Parker and Imagic, Jopacs from France, Odyssey2 from USA and Canada and Philips Odyssey from Brazil. Also a large homebrew/new releases collection. In addition, I love Amiibos and have a complete collection here as well. I always found it a pity, that no one but me sees my collection and that no one is interested except me. It seems like the whole world is collecting only the generation from the Nintendo Nes. Therefore, after much deliberation, I decided to do it and dared to show my collection on Youtube. Since it's also something new for me, I ask for your indulgence if everything isn't perfect. Since I'm from Germany, I tried to write my video descriptions in English as well. Again, I apologize for mistakes. So far I have released 3 films (more are in the pipeline) and I would be very happy if you like them. I cordially invite you to visit my channel. Comments, a like and a subscription are very welcome and would motivate me to continue. Thank you in advance for your interest. ? https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC9y7Vo_qyvr1ByhEhHSOLgw
  12. I also had this question some time ago (2016) and I post the question at videopac.nl. Maybe it`s interesting to read for you. http://videopac.nl/forum/index.php?topic=2763.0
  13. All games I show you work on G7000/Odyssey2 and G7400/Jopac. Laser Blitz: The "plus graphics for G7400/Jopac" are only the blue Mountains with the stars on the top, the words "Laser Blitz / lives / score and power" and the red color at the bottom. I post a pic how the game look , when you put the same cartridge into a G7000/O2. Down: The "plus graphics" are here only the blue static background. When you put the same cartridge into a G7000/Odyssey2 is the background black. The game is the same and it`s fun and fast. Unfortunatly, I have no pic without the blue background. So you must only replace the blue background with black in your mind. ? Cavity: This game has only a "plus" cover screen at G7400/Jopac. The game look the same at G7400 and G7000/Odyssey2. I post a pic from the cover screen.
  14. Maybe the programmer from the past can`t do this, but we had wonderful homebrews for Videopac/Odyssey2 that can scroll. First we had Cavity from Revival Studios= https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aAVZnIU7gS8 Then we had Down from Revival Studios= https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1XRM_L2V6fQ An other kind of scrolling we find in Laser Blitz from Videopac Belgium= https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hsFQN2aLzDY
  15. COOL ! Apollo´s SHARK ATTACK for Odyssey 2. Awesome. Please put me on the list. Thanks!
