  1. No need to purchase anything for me. I'm a big boy. Many of these issues were pushed off and other things started. I was asked to post bugs years ago and did that a couple of times but unfortunately that didn't go anywhere. I shouldn't need to purchase additional hardware. I do own an HDMI converter already, and it *mostly* worked, but i'd get some intermittent flicker issues that no other hardware has exhibited. So I currently enjoy the Phoenix in my bedroom just fine. I wasn't able to enjoy it on 2 Sony models, and it had occasional issues on my Samsung as well. I promote the Phoenix all the time, and am responsible for multiple additional sales. I really do wish I could help further. I'd be willing to pitch in generously, as I've previously stated. I'd love to see the system reach its full potential. I do understand your point, however. Sometimes I don't realize I asked something before, have some concentration problems. I'll be certain to be more mindful of that and continue to be patient. Thank you for the advice.
  2. I have always loved my unit. I just wish the TV-compatibility issue would be resolved, and I'm golden. Obviously buying more hardware to make it work is not an ideal choice, so some of us are using alternative TVs in another room in the meantime. I wish I had the skills to help with the cores, I hope someone else can help finish the TV compatibility issue as a priority and would have no problem donating to that end! Last I heard someone was going to work on it after finishing some game, and a year has gone by and that still hasn't happened. Can we do some donations to help fund it somewhat? I'd be in day one to assist with that!
  3. It's been 4 months since any comment about the firmware clock fixes, etc. Did the programmer finish that SNES project as of yet that was referenced in March? Thanks!
  4. Heya! So since it's been a couple months, how close is he to finishing up that SNES game? Summer? Fall? Looking forward to that clock fix, and the Atari 2600 core adjustments myself! Loving the machine in the meantime in an alternate location. Looking forward to playing it on my Sony in my game room.
  5. I'm extremely pleased to hear this update, it's been so long.. I'm looking forward to the clock fix the most, followed by the Atari 2600 fixes relating to screensize and other issues others have already reported. Please stick with it! Love my unit!
  6. There were some units that needed an ethernet connection for the first firmware update, then did wireless just fine after that... Mine was one of those units, but I got mine in October of 2020. Mine was the same unit from Sam's Club. I was lucky I had ethernet in the room it was going in.
  7. No chance on dropping an image of the disc somewhere for download?
  8. Get well soon! Hope it stays mild!
  9. Red with both audio chips! Pre-order request! Thanks!
  10. I hope this is being addressed.. I'd like to have a better experience playing the Atari 2600 games...
  11. The power and current are less in spec on the ColUSB? Hadn't heard that before...
  12. Just an update.. While I had no luck getting the unit to work with my Sony Bravia TV using a powered hdmi switch, I am happy that I was able to get the system to work using the hdmi in on my Framemeister. I’ll use that until the direct method is fixed with that clock change coming in the future.
  13. I've seen similar graphical anomalies like that go away after upgrading the firmware of the Atarimax Colecovision multicart...
  14. Are there any discounts if you want most or all of these overlays?
  15. Sure, these are the original files directly posted into the first post of the thread until this recent update... Of course it doesn't have any of the new enhancements made, but it doesn't have the audio issues either. CORE01.PHX CORE02.PHX
  16. I hope the new core version isn't based on the one that arrived in many of our Phoenix units which I had significant problems with... The one that FIXED 90% all my issues (except for my Sony Bravia incompatibility) was the one in the first post a few days ago (before the update). If this new one is based on the one that shipped that caused an issue in many units that was fixed by the older core, please make sure that's available. I'm backing my known working one up right now!
  17. Yeah, I updated the bug report just now. Apparently since I used this in a TV input I don't usually use, I still had the default "SRS TruSound" feature turned on, which was attempting to normalize the balance of the sound. Turned it off completely and it fixed the music balance issue. Now tomorrow I'm going to have my first day of total enjoyment with my Phoenix! If I run into other issues, I'll certainly report them!
  18. So after using the core that was attached on the first post of this thread, every one of my audio bugs went away though I did notice one other.. Certain music in certain games have an issue with volume level.. Like start quiet, then get louder at times during the level. Two games I've noticed this on was Donkey Kong (level 2), and Smurf (the first area).. Music starts quiet, then gets louder and louder, then quiet again. I'll update my github reports now.
  19. I'm going to test a switch I have today to see if that fixes my ability to play it on one of my TV's that get no picture. As for sound issues working with a new core, I got my unit on November 4. Is there a core newer than the one I'd have?
  20. Better yet, have a limited edition label that can be wrapped around the cart adapter itself that looks like red bricks too.
  21. I've now uploaded a bunch of video examples of issues/bugs I've experienced with video and sound and they are now attached to my bug reports. Hope that helps, happy to make more... May even try a completely different SD card and routing through an HDMI switcher as well to see what happens...
  22. That would be me. I'm going to try to post videos of all the Phoenix and game bugs I find to help isolate everything...
  23. I received the two Colecovision USB Plugs, and tested them both. I spent several hours with each, and both fit well and worked great (*). I used the exact same 17 watt 3.4 amp USB-C power supply previously mentioned by HDTV1080P, and the exact same 5A USB-C cable as well so I can confirm that the combination has been awesome so far. It worked with any peripherals I threw at it, but I do not yet have an Adam to test. Kudos for a great quality product! (*) I did have a few graphical glitches at first, but its the same glitches I had with the original power supply because when I wiggle the power port at all it occasionally happens. Most likely fixed with some solder, as that happens frequently with Colecovisions. Am I right to check that first? The power switch had previously been cleaned and seems solid.
