It's been an interesting first half! Let's break it down: Ghosts After being shut out in their first game, they've been scary good with four straight wins scoring at least two runs per game. They have the most runs scored in the league so far, and are undefeated at home. Pitching and defense have been solid, allowing only four runs in five games. They look primed to make their first championship series since 2019. Upmonsters They started the season with a three game win streak before losing in week 4 and barely outlasting the Bombers in their last game. Their pitching and defense is starting to slack a bit, and they need to score more runs to keep pace in the Action Network. Still, it looks like they will have their third winning season in a row. Mutants Another solid defensive team with three shutouts, but offense has been mostly lacking. They would be tied for first if they won that 20 inning marathon game against the Upmonsters. If they can go off in the second half, they might return to their 2018 championship form. Beamriders They don't have much of their usual dominance so far this year. One of the best teams offensively, but one of the worst with pitching and defense. If they can't stop giving up so many runs, they'll be left behind in the standings like last season. Smash Wow. From reaching the championship series last season to winless this season. Worst in the league in both runs scored and runs allowed. Unexplainable. Deadly Dogs They started the season on fire with four straight wins and three shutouts. Then they faced the Ghosts and got burned. They are one of the best in the league offensively and on pitching/defense. Huge turn around from last season. They should be able to handle the rest of the Battle Network and make their first championship series since 2020. River Raiders They're having an inconsistent start, scoring two runs in their three wins while being shutout in their two losses. They are solid with pitching and defense, so if they can improve offensively, they could have another winning season. Armada The back-to-back league champions are almost equal to the River Raiders: good wins but also being shutout twice. They have a lot of work ahead of them to make their third championship series. Bombers They've had one good game this season, but overall it's been tough. They've given up 11 runs in a span of four games while only scoring a total of four runs in those losses. It looks like they'll have another average season. They had a good comeback in their last game against the Upmonsters, so they still have some fight in them. Spartans Another disappointing season. They lost their first four games while being shutout twice, then somehow shutout the Beamriders. They haven't been to the championship series since 2014, and it doesn't look like it's happening again anytime soon. CRAZY MARATHON GAME TODAY!!! It was a tough defensive game for 12 innings, then the Upmonsters launched a home run in the 13th to lead 2-0. The Bombers blasted a home run of their own, then tied the game in the 13th with an RBI single!!! I can't remember the last time a team tied the score this late in a game, if ever! Both teams kept fighting until the 20TH INNING (again!) when the Upmonsters dropped an RBI bunt to lead 3-2. The Bombers tried to tie it again but were shut down, and the Upmonsters hold on to win.

The River Raiders scored two runs in the third inning to lead 2-0. The Smash scored a run on a fielder's choice in the 5th, and almost tied it in the 9th, but the River Raiders shut them down and win 2-1. After making the championship series last season, the Smash have now lost five in a row.

The Mutants crushed a home run on the first pitch of the game today! They also hit three RBI singles in the 3rd inning and shoot down the Armada 4-0. Very colorful game too, both teams wore their color uniforms.

It was a battle of the first place teams today! Many good hits and defensive plays. The Ghosts scored first with an RBI single in the 1st inning. The Deadly Dogs tied the game in the 2nd. The Ghosts hit four straight singles to lead off the 8th and take the lead 2-1. They go on to win their fourth straight and give the Dogs their first loss of the season.

@wolfy62 got his wish! The Spartans get their first win of the season with 3 RBI's in the 7th inning today!!! They shoot down the Beamriders 3-0.

It was a tight game for four innings, then the Beamriders scored two runs on Upmonsters errors and an RBI single in the 5th inning! The Upmonsters battled back with an RBI single in the 7th, but they still lose their first game of the season 3-1.

The Armada scored a run in the 3rd inning and two more in the 6th inning and shot down the Bombers today 3-1. That's the Armada's third win in a row.

I set the game to play itself, there is no human interaction. It's kind of like a fantasy league.

The Ghosts started the game today by scoring on a fielder's choice in the 1st inning. The Smash tied the game in the bottom of the 1st with an RBI single. The Ghosts took advantage of bad fielding and pitching by the Smash and scored THREE RUNS in the 4th. They went on to win 5-1, their 3rd win in a row.

LONGEST GAME IN LEAGUE HISTORY!!! The Upmonsters hit an RBI single in the 4th inning to take the lead 1-0. The Mutants tied the game in the bottom of the 9th on a fielder's choice. Both teams battled until the 20TH INNING when the Upmonsters hit a walk off single to win 2-1! That fielder's choice ended the Upmonsters' streak of scoreless innings at 26. Upmonsters are now 3-0.

The Armada and River Raiders battled for 15 INNINGS today, then the Armada scored a run on a fielder's choice in the 16th and win 1-0. That's the longest game since 6/30/22.

Great game today! The Smash hit two RBI singles in the 2nd inning to take a 2-0 lead. The Beamriders cut the lead to 2-1 in the 4th with a single. The Beamriders then blast THREE RBI singles in the 7th inning to lead 4-2 and hold on for their first win! The defending Action Network champs Smash are now 0-3.

DEADLY DOGS ARE ON FIRE!!! With RBIs in both the 3rd and 4th innings, the Dogs beat the Bombers today 3-0. Four straight wins, outscoring opponents 8-1, and three straight shutouts. Check out the TRIPLE PLAY by the Bombers in the first inning. Don't blink!

The Beamriders scored a run on a fielder's choice in the 2nd inning. The Ghosts fought back with two RBI's in the 5th inning and hold on to win 2-1.

The Deadly Dogs' bats stay hot with two RBI singles in the 5th inning today as they burn the River Raiders 2-0. That's their third win a row, and they have outscored their opponents 5-1 in those games.

Games will probably start around 8am PT this week. It was a tight game for 10 innings, then the Mutants hit four straight singles in the 11th inning and beat the Smash 1-0.
