The River Raiders burn the Deadly Dogs today 3-1 and stay one game ahead of the Armada in the Battle Network.

The Smash hit four straight singles to start the game and scored a run in the 1st inning. The Mutants tied it in the 4th. Both teams battled it out until the Smash scored two runs in the 15th inning. They hold on to win 3-1. The Smash might clinch the Action Network title with a win next week!

The Beamriders BLASTED OFF today! THREE runs in the 2nd and THREE runs in the 8th! They exterminate the Ghosts 7-0! The last team to score 7+ runs in a game were the Beamriders, who had an 8 run game in 2020. The Beamriders and Ghosts are now tied for 4th place at 2.5 games back. Four weeks until the championship series!

The Armada beat the Spartans today 2-1 and stay a half game behind the River Raiders.

It was a tough fight for 13 innings today, then the Upmonsters scored a run on a fielder's choice in the 14th inning. They beat the Mutants 1-0 and move to 2 games out of first place and tied with the Ghosts for 3rd place. That's a huge loss for the Mutants, who are now 1.5 games back and play the first place Smash next week.

Don't remember ever seeing HALT before. Is this screen a clue as to why it crashes sometimes?

The River Raiders stay in first place as they shoot down the Bombers today 1-0.

The Bombers beat the Deadly Dogs 1-0 today and stay in the championship race.

The first three innings today were a SLUGFEST! The Mutants scored a run in the top of the 1st inning. The Ghosts scored THREE RUNS in the bottom of the 1st. The Mutants scored a run in the 2nd and crushed a home run to center for two runs in the 3rd! The Ghosts threatened to tie it in the bottom of the 9th but couldn't score. Mutants win 4-3 and stay a game behind the Smash. That's three big offensive games in a row!

HUGE game for the Spartans today! Two runs in the 1st inning RBI bunt in 2nd RBI single in 5th HOME RUN in 6th They hold on to destroy the River Raiders 5-1! Spartans snap a three game losing streak.

The Smash had their best game in years today!!! They scored FOUR RUNS in the 5th inning and one in the 6th and destroy the Beamriders 5-0.

The championship race starts now with the Smash (4-1) trying to hold on to first place as they host the Beamriders (2-3) starting now! Game will be color vs. color.

MID-SEASON REPORT Season 9 has been a good fight! Let's break it down. Smash Not as good a start this season as last season, but they still had another strong first half. Their offense is one of the best in the league, and their pitching and defense has been great, only allowing three runs and two shutouts in five games. However, they are already showing signs of their second half failures with their only loss and two extra inning wins in their last three games. We'll see if this is the year they can stop their yearly second half crash. Mutants They're right behind the Smash again, riding a three game win streak. They have scored a lot of runs, but also have been inconsistent. Pitching and defense have been dominant in their last four games. If they can stay consistent at the plate and stay strong defensively, they should have a good second half. Ghosts They've had a decent start in general. Good games offensively but also inconsistent. They gave up a lot of runs in one game but have been solid besides that. If they can get a few more good games, they could make it back to the championship series. Beamriders They also have been inconsistent at the plate, but near the top of the league in pitching and defense. If they can score more runs, they might have a shot at their past championship glory. Upmonsters It looks like last year's Action Network Championship was a fluke. They've only scored five runs and have been shut out twice in five games this season. Pitching and defense are one of the worst in the league. River Raiders It's been quite a turnaround from last season! They blasted off offensively with a four game win streak, but fell short in their last game. Pitching and defense are starting to slide a bit. If they can fight off their opponents in the second half, they can get back to the postseason. Armada The 2021 league champions have been inconsistent so far this season. Most games have been close. They will need to improve at the plate to win another league championship. Bombers A weak start in general, being shut out in three of their first five games. Pitching and defense are showing signs of getting under control. The postseason may be far off in the distance this season. Deadly Dogs The meanie weenies have really cooled off this season. They've been shut out three times in the first half while giving up at least one run per game. Spartans Solid offense this season with no shutouts, but they have the worst pitching and defense in the league giving up 12 runs in their last four games. With another mediocre season pending, the postseason for them is light years away. Anything can happen in the second half! Keep watching, it's gonna get wild! The Mutants hosted the River Raiders for the first time since 2016, and shot them down 3-0! First loss for the Raiders this season.

The Armada hosted the Ghosts for the first time since 2016 today. It was a tight game until the 6th inning when the Ghosts hit an RBI single. They went on to win 2-0.

It's mid-season inter-network week! The Bombers scored a run in the 7th inning and held on to beat the Beamriders 1-0. The last time the Bombers hosted the Beamriders was 2015.

TODAY'S GAME WAS ONE OF THE CRAZIEST, BEST GAMES EVER!!! The Spartans scored runs in the 4th, 5th and 7th innings. The River Raiders scored THREE RUNS in the bottom of the 9th to tie it 3-3! The River Raiders won 4-3 in the 12th inning scoring on an ERROR by the Spartans catcher!!! I don't think I've ever seen that before! River Raiders BARELY stay undefeated! Next week is inter-network week!
