TI-99 Photos Thread! Post your systems here!
globeron replied to slinkeey's topic in TI-99/4A Computers
8 new videos on YouTube (TI-99 Videos channel) of my systems in action (TI-99/4 with volume slider/speaker/earplug and special power supply and PAL modulator video output/EU model). TI-99/4 without volume slider/speaker, but with earplug and composite video output (USA model). TI-99/4A black/silver (with PAL modulator/EU model) with PEB box and TI-99/4A beige with VGA F18A video upgrade. -
Is there any reason why the 2048K Cartridge does not appear in the selection menu on a TI-99/4 with the 32K attached to it? See at the end of this video

High Score Competition (April: Starfort)
globeron replied to arcadeshopper's topic in TI-99/4A Computers
(I am already in the next day here in this time-zone and looking forward to the next game !) For the future if persons not getting enough of playing Blasto, try to play with two players http://atariage.com/forums/topic/241547-high-score-competition-april-blasto/?p=4265864 and beat this 2-player score 45630, it is difficult, but a lot of fun and shouting "faster, faster :-)" -

High Score Competition (April: Starfort)
globeron replied to arcadeshopper's topic in TI-99/4A Computers
This one is special... Score 45630 TWO players (with my son). And found a strategy how to boost up points. Still think we can do better. You need to shoot the tanks and the opposite blow up himself as much as possible as the other get 1000 points each. It seems Classic99 tank movement is slower compared to v9t9 and PC99 and others, but timewise it does not make much difference (cannot score higher). Sent from my VIE-L29 using Tapatalk -

Maybe I was confused with this article: http://atariage.com/forums/topic/258740-troubleshooting-xb256-compilera-sense-of-accomplishment/?hl=%2Bcompile+%2Bassembler&do=findComment&comment=3638399 I cannot remember exactly if it is compiling or not. Harry Wilhelm's XB256 and his 256D Compiler to compile an Extended BASIC program. but will try to look into: XBGDP -

Thanks! Now the next question, if this one is compiled with XB256 to assembler it will run faster probably? -
Hopefully KWHCoaster can post the XB listing here. See. https://twitter.com/KWHCoaster/status/1117165875063291904 KWHCoaster @KWHCoaster Apr 13More Replying to @FlightDreamz @Arrayzable and 2 others I did my own hybrid, "Goin' Ape" on the #TI994A using Extended Basic. Google actually found a screen capture! I haven't seen it in action since the late '80s.

Thanks for the explanation, I did not know that how the calculation worked, but I agree that the density of blue mines is important. (I also realized that on the Raspberry PI with TI/SIM pressing REDO returned to BACK and had to enter the game play (I need to double check that) but on the real TI you can press REDO, thus if you are not happy with the mine density then press a few times REDO before playing, -
Is there a way to access the games at www.myti99.com not via real TI + TIPI (or via Stuart's Browser and one of the two options?) Reason: I am halfway a chess game with GcMcGill and Jwild, but hardly behind my TI and next weeks travelling overseas. Would be nice if the TIPI is emulated and can be access e.g. via JS99er.net, Classic99 or via a simple webuserinterface at www.myti99.com (at least to continue the Chess game)

It was too difficult for me. I remember I used to have the Book of Hints (but a different cover? Blue / White or so), but even then it was hard with the coding technique http://www.99er.net/download2/index.php?act=view&id=203 -
Is the other one Stuart Internet Browser ?
