    Perhaps keep the name around for a couple of issues, see what happens... and if it doesn't work, get rid of it. But yeah, if Piko is handling this, there is a big chance that it might actually be a thing. Perhaps even a good thing!

    Actually, let me post my videos AND an update (kindda) first. This are my videos. They're somewhat old, but still accurate. That's how it looks on my TV. Now for some random reason he happened to have a TON of old TVs lying around. I took a couple of pictures. Since I'm not the most tech-savy guy in the planet, I was wondering if this are the TVs I should get instead of the flatscreen I have (they're fixer uppers but they guy is willing to do the work and get rid of them for cheap). http://imgur.com/a/8zT08

    I also have some videos of the overscan, I think. But regardless, my question is, if overscan is the issue, is there any way around it? Should I give up and play with overscan OR give up the other way and play with graphical stutter? Again, this is really driving me nuts.

    Is it a flatscreen? And if it is, how do you deal with the missing edges? Those drive me completely NUTS!

    Wait a blipitty bloopitty, what kind of monitor is this? (Might as well ask since I'm already here) What kind of monitors do you guys use to get such nice graphics? I got an Omega CMVS several years ago, and I swear of God NO TV ever displays the thing correctly. It has driven me nuts for quite some time now. (specially since the good kind of CRTs that display the Neo proper are actually very hard to come by. All the common flatscreen CRTs have the edges missing when displaying the game). An old Plasma HD TV I found in a pawn shop does manage to display the whole screen without issues... except the graphics stutter (which is specially noticeable with, say, Blazing Star).

    One day Mike will stare at this picture with teary eyes and go "The good old days... whatever happened to them?" and the "Wonder Years" tune will start playing in his head before he goes "Oh yeah, I was an idiot" and the tune will just stop.

    Being fair, there are some good ones out there. Not every single one of them is a shill, and some have gotten intro trouble (Gertsman comes to mind) for actually NOT being shill. Most of them being shills, tho'? Yeah, but what else is new? At the very least the market is so saturated we can reast at ease knowing that Mike will never try to stream his way out of this one.

    Agreed. While the joke is genuinely fun and everything, I REALLY don't want to see Mike using this to vindicate himself. The average person won't bother to do proper research and will believe that yes, Mike indeed was just "another victim" of haters. It's nice to know it can be done in theory or anything, but I'm not sure a Jaguar Shell should be used. Not to mention, nothing stopping Mike (other than common sense, mind you) from using the guy's design to sell his own stupid projects.

    Being fair, at the very least their facebook and twitter pages are still active, so there's a chance this won't be a MAYOR shit-show. Still, I thought they would get the hint after the first Vega didn't sell as well as they expected. It seems to be a good machine if you have ZX nostalgia or you're curious about it (I personally am, because I used to play Jetpac in my N64 -via Donkey Kong 64- when I was in Junior High and some legit good games), but having no dedicated american seller seems to be... well, not exactly smart. Did anyone here got the first Vega, actually?

    Sounds to me like that was the right thing to do. God knows things haven't improved and most probably things will get worse before they get good... if ever.
